Came here for Brunch around opening hours. Order first and they assigned us a table. Plenty of parking. Plenty of selections with great presentation and taste. French bread š„ and dipping sauce (olive oil and oregano) appetizer for free. We ordered the shrimp Bruschetta and the turkey goat cheese gouda sandwich (special of the day).

There are not enough words to describe how delicious the sandwiches were that my husband and I got for our trip back home. We came to Jacksonville for a few days to enjoy some good eats and this was on the top of our list. Our only regret, not coming every single day we were here. We ordered to-go and grabbed some extra bread to take home/enjoy on the road (road snacks!). We got the hot Italian and hot Reuben. Can't wait to come back to try more sandwiches in the future and try some of the cakes/cookies!

Exceptional dining! The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, great ambience in the dining area, and the staff makes you feel like you're being waited on hand and foot. Highly recommend this place, we'll definitely be back again and again!

A true gem in a nondescript location. Excellent bread. Highly recommend the Bang Bang shrimp Po Boy sandwich and the Parisian Roast beef sandwich. Fries were on point. We will be back

This restaurant is a well knownJacksonville favorite! Itās been in business for many years but if youāre going to try it you need to know some well kept secrets. First they are only open for lunch. Second, when you go plan on standing in line. They get busy early and stay that way the whole time theyāre open. Third, portions are large, think about sharing. Fourth, get dessert!! No more needs to be said about dessert-you can go wrong! Fifth, consider ordering to go and skip the line.
Everything is really good. The staff is friendly.

The best food and so fresh. Amazingly delicious, and you know the food is good when there is a line. Bakery is definitely a must, my favorite is the Wedding cake, German Cake, & chocolate chip cookies!!! The bruschetta is the best Iāve had and there are a variety to choose from. Burgers are excellent and if you have time to dine and wait in a long line, itās an experience. Itās a small place but the food is high end quality!

Didn't realize that you shared tables with strangers. Just a little awkward. I had the roast beef with provolone but it didn't seem like cheese at all and not a lot of meat. The best part was the bread and herbs which were a nice surprise.

The French Pantry is consistently delicious. Fresh ingredients, portion size is plentiful and service with a smile. This boxed lunch to go is a favorite of mine as their Mediterranean salad with grilled shrimp added. Everything Iāve ordered has been delicious! Donāt get me started on the Peanut Butter cookie. š

Knowing that The French Pantry is a popular place, we arrived a few minutes early. People started lining up to get in about 10:20. Since it was cold, my wife sent me to get in line while she waited in the car š.
They opened the doors and we began filing in. My wife ordered the Bang Bang salad and a Napoleon and I ordered a Mufaletta and German chocolate cake.
Food started arriving a couple of minutes after we sat down with an order of fresh bread (baguette and onion bread) and then desserts (uh oh). While waiting for our meals we snacked on the bread and tried the desserts. It was so delicious.
Shortly our food arrived and it was gorgeous! The meal was great! Portions were perfect, flavors tremendous and everything fresh.
My only complaint about the experience is the setting. Besides the tables and chairs, which my wife said are "provincial French" and a few pieces of art in the walls with the Paris motto, you don't get the feeling that you're in a French restaurant, Cafe or anything else.

The French Pantry was incredible. The sandwich (roast beef cheddar, I believe) was mouth watering. Ate it in two sittings. The salad was ok, and so were the cookies I got to go. It's definitely a spot worth trying.

I always try and swing by The French Pantry when we come to Jacksonville. Their pastries, croissants, and cakes are extremely excellent. Also enjoy they sit-down meals, when I have the time. If you like fresh baked breads, my wife and I almost always leave with a round warm bundle of bread in our arms. Wonderful place. Worth your time to experience great food. Also it's causal dress, lunch only.

This place is definitely worth the wait! It's so cute and cozy. The staff are nice. There's so many options for desserts. The menu has a lot of varieties of sandwiches, paninis, salads, and bread. I ordered the turkey panini and it was so much more than I could eat along with the complimentary bread and wedding cake slice. The wedding cake is a well known favorite that you have to get if you're coming here. The moistness of the cake and the sweet sauce went well together. We were sat with other people and although that's not the norm, it's no trouble at all. It's a very fun and interesting experience. If you are in Jacksonville then you have to try this place out. Try to come as early as possible to miss the line though!

This place is always busy so there is a wait. They have Lemonade and water in the waiting area outside because it's so hot. It's better to make a line inside rather than out the door so no one sweats to death. Great food and generous portions. I couldn't finish half of the fries.

Came on a weekday for lunch and waited about 5 minutes for our order to be taken. Not bad at all. Iāve heard the line can get quite long.
The French dip was good, but for $14 I would expect a side for lunch. The quality did not match the price and for that I give 4 stars.
Clean restaurant, friendly staff, great food, but overpriced.

Bruschetta and Parisienne au just sandwich was amazing. Fresh bread was key. Service was fine but one server seemed rude to my wife. We aren't sure why or if it was intentional but it took her some time to shake it off and enjoy the meal. The cake looked amazing and was really decadent and sweet but the genoise sponge was soooo airy that it really made the cake taste more like a candy bar because it had so little flour. I would recommend the wedding cake because it is the only one where genoise would make sense.
The line is long and we showed up at opening time and still waited 40 minutes, and seating is communal.
Hard to review this place as it has so much potential to be legendary, ..yet if they dont fix some issues, when would I choose to ever go back?

We arrived at 10:50 and the place was empty and there was a ton of parking. I checked out the menu and had a hard time deciding what to order- there were sandwiches, bruschettas, and salads. It being my first time, I wasnāt sure what to order, so I went with a special board āTurkey with Goudaā with fries. I didnāt really want meat, and almost all the sandwiches were meat. The bruschetta list had vegetarian options, but bruschetta usually hurts my mouth if itās too crunchy, so I avoided it. I should have ordered a salad, because they bring a plate of amazingly delicious bread with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and herbs as an appetizer. My friend ordered the spinach and portobello bruschetta. Next time, I will order better for myself, but overall I really enjoyed eating here. While we were ordering, people started arriving and within about 10 minutes there was a line out the door. And then the entire restaurant was packed! I recommend it if you love delicious bread!

5 š all the way. I took my mom here for her birthday, and it was delicious. I also bought some bread to take home. I have never made a meal with only bread and butter, but I did and loved every bite. DELICIOUS!
