Whole experience as usual was great. Food cooked perfectly and not over seasoned. The staff, especially up front taking orders, is a group of friendly people who know their product well and it shows. Great job. Just ordered the d1, steamed catfish and I highly recommend trying it out for yourself.
If you like seafood, this is the place to go. The poboy’s are well worth the money. All the of the menu choices are made to order and I have never been disappointed. My only issue is with the cold drinks. $2.25 is a bit much for a 20oz soda but that can easily be over looked as you enjoy your meal.

I think they have the best fried chicken in Jacksonville NC. Their fried fish is also amazing they also have many other tasty very affordable menu options. The dining room is no frills but it is clean which is what matters most to me.
Been there twice in the last two weeks, just before they closed. The food was great both times, service was good as well.

I've eaten at Cajun Seafood for a while now; always steamed and well seasoned, both mild and hot. Food's always been great, but my last time, it was the best ever! Butter sauce much improved! Staff wasn't overly friendly, but pleasant and very efficient. Change in management? Overall, 5/5!

The place doesn’t look super fancy, but they make FANTASTIC seafood! Crab, lobster, scallops taste like just out of sea, and the shrimps are surprisedly huge and juicy! Can’t find a better place to enjoy seafood! Will definitely come to visit whenever I’m in Jacksonville.
