Mai Tai Restaurant - Jacksonville - Photo album

Finally reopened sort of. Definitely a work in progress but I enjoyed it and it is cleaner now than it was prior to the extended closing. They understand the need for improvement and actual advertise it as a soft opening. Will return and hopefully they are running on all cylinders when I do.
Place needs some improvements so it doesn’t look really old I been in Jacksonville for the last 20 years and this place hasn’t changed much food was ok staff friendly hoping to come back for a better experience.
So the atmosphere and rating of this place are low. Yes that's not exactly good. With that being said the food and service are pretty good. The servers don't slack. The cooks will look out for you and the food is primarily fresh for it to be buffet food. If you're looking for a good selection then M

Nice restaurant and the food was good. The hibachi grill had way more food items than the others I have been to so it was a plus!!
Great selection of sushi, hibachi looked great but I was too full. Coconut shrimp is out of this world and their chicken on a stick is fire! Highly recommend, cheaper than McDonald’s for 2 people on a weekend. ($31 for two)
It was delicious. I'll bring my friends over sometime
Food was great would have gave 5 start on food if it wasn't for there being hard little ball things in the shrimp which is my favorite food but those bars things ruined the shrimp for me! Staff was very friendly kept refills coming and we are a family of 7 it was clean and for 7 people the price was
