The staff is always friendly and courteous. They don't charge for spicy mayo when you get carry out which is a huge plus. They're good at accommodating special dietary needs and will customize sushi rolls if you ask.
Simple and fresh sushi. Atmosphere is good but not great, but the food is consistently good. Especially recommend the love boat for 2 or the dragon boat for 3. Best sushi deal in town. Great for takeout.
Without question the best sushi and freshest fish in town. Bravo!
Food is great ALWAYS... The service... ahhhhh. I think our server lady was having one of those nights. Oh well. Foods still great and normally the service is on point too.
Excellent Sushi. Always fresh, always good, and extremely reasonable. My favorite sushi place in Jax.
Great Spot.. I have been here twice now and would consider this place my "go to" for sushi in the Jax Beach area. This little place offers a large variety of sushi on the menu as well as daily specials written on the white board by the door. Everything from your basic California and Volcano Roll to unique colorful creations. The Tiger Roll with pineapple, avocado and cream cheese topped with fresh salmon and the Ocean Blue with tempura sweet potato topped with a spicy salmon are two of my favorites. The crab rangoon appetizer is absolutely delicious, I could hide these in my purse and snack on them all day.... but I don't cause that is just not good for bikini season. :) Prices are very fair for freshly prepared fish and rolls. Service has always been smiley and very attentive.
Can find better. While this place wasn't terrible, it certainly wasn't very good. The sushi was not as fresh as some places and the flavor combinations in some of their invented rolls just didn't work.
Great Sushi, Great Prices. Have eaten here several times and have had great experiences every time. Sushi has always been fresh, service is great, and feel the prices are extremely reasonable compared to other sushi places.
Sushi palace is the best sushi in jax!. I lived in NYC for over 10 years and I couldn't find good sushi anywhere. but i finally have! the service is excellent and I have never had bad anything...except for the ginger salad dressing...that could be completely different.
Every review I write now seems to be an angry response to another reviewer. My apologies to all the intelligent people who observed the great value offerred by sushi palace, but the two who called it overpriced must not remember the time and place when a sushi reataurant was a rare spot with the freshest fish in town and a nearly impossible import schedule. The only way anyone could ever undercut the current prices at sushi palace is by cutting quality. That being said, if you have been to crazy sushi, you have been to sushi palace. Same rolls, same prices. Heck, I even had the same waiter (and a good one! Hey Leo!). Def worth a trip... And ps: they have a solid coupon in mint magazine...
Awesome! Diablo roll and Alaska rolll are both good. Great place to get food to go, fast and friendly.
It's AMAZING!!!! Affordable and so delicious!! I just moved to town and this is my new favorite sushi place. Ming the sushi chef rocked my palate. A must try.
Sushi Palace is our favorite!!. The best sushi I have ever had. Great selection!! Tried the hibachi last time. ALOT of food for a great price. Our whole family loves this place!!
I love this place you get a bunch of food for a low price!!! I go there at least once a week.
This place has a variety of sushi to offer. The prices are a bit high. It is a little ways down from the Jax Beaches, almost in Ponte Vedra. Overall it's worth the trip. Great Tuna Tataki!
I love sushi palace! Good prices and the food is amazing! They have a great lobster roll and their jaguar roll is delicious! They have great specialty rolls too.
Best bang for your buck in the area.
I love sushi palace! This is by far the best sushi me and my boyfriend have ever eaten! I also think the prices are great! They arn't expensive at all! I really hope they do well, they deserve it!!!
Love it!. Love this place. It's clean, friendly, great sushi, great food, great prices. I eat there 1-2 times a week. Hope they stick around - the sushi is better there than any other place I've eaten sushi in the last 3 years.
We’ve ordered pickup from here a few times. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The food is great and a good value. I ordered the chicken entree and my husband ordered the steak entree and it was so good that I’m sure we’ll order that next time also. Thanks for a great dinner every time!
I walked in and the waiter was very nice. Just to note we were in a rush to get home from Disney. When we first walked in we were a little startled that no one was there. The food was rlly good including the sushi. The food came out quick. We were there for 30-45 min tops.
Pretty unassuming place, small but cute. They have a side menu of rolls of the days and I was excited to see the summer roll which is vegetarian! We also got the sweet potato tempura roll, and then a fried chicken roll with avocados and rolled up with cucumber slice. The knife work was amazing, super thin slices of mango delicately placed on the summer roll, super thin slices of cucumber inside of the rolls. I did wish the sweet potato tempura was a little more crisp, and that there had been eel sauce on the sweet potato and fried chicken roll. But that's probably the Americanized version of sushi. The server was great to bring us out some sauce. To end our meal they brought out an already cut up orange pictured as pictured below. Seems like a pretty popular place. Would definitely go again.
Got takeout from here since it's takeout only. I ordered Yellowtail nigiri, and two pieces of Salmon sashimi. My partner had the Katsu chicken hibachi with clear soup, steamed white rice, and ginger salad. However, the sauce that came with the Katsu Chicken tasted like straight BBQ sauce. We used the sauce because the chicken was SUPER dry. But everything else tasted really good. The tails were super easy to take off the tempura shrimp that was in the black dragon roll. The rolls stayed together because the jasmine rice was really sticky, which I enjoy. Less likely to have a piece of the roll come undone. I would definitely try to eat here in the future and hopefully they open up after the pandemic calms down since it was takeout only. It was located in a plaza with Target, Books-A-Millions, and other various stores. Right off the exit too.
