Excellent place for a healthy breakfast and lunch. Friday is my favorite for freshly made gumbo with plentiful shrimp and crawfish.

Just couldn't do another chain restaurant on our trip. This place does have local charm and pleasant staff. We arrived about 930, so the grill might have been off...if true,then that's why breakfast took a really long time to arrive. I was assuming the food should have been extra hot then right? No.
