Undercooked chicken, and lukewarm, bland vegetables. Rice had obviously been reheated once, and the gravy was vile. Will NEVER go back.

I went here the summer of last year and got the shrimp poboy and onion rings. It. Was. The. Bomb! So, fast forward to me going last week and getting it, ready for a repeat experience. Well, didn't happen. The onion rings were burnt to a powdery crisp and the shrimp was burned and fried hard too. I was disappointed becuase this wasn't a $8 meal!
I called them and told them about my meal and the manager was very apologetic and nice. He offered to replace my meal the next time I stopped by. Well, the replacement meal was cooked to perfection, golden and crisp the way it should be! However, the taste wasn't the same as the first couple times I went last summer so... But below are pictures of the before and the replacement. Pics don't lie.
I give them 5 stars for customer service! Hands down he was fantastic! But the flavor was a bust 😕 so, 3 stars total.

The veggies here are well seasoned and the cornbread is exactly like I like it, a tad bit sweet. I liked it even better when a drink was included with the blueplate but the tea is mighty good. Now the tea is SWEET so you will want to mix the sweet and unsweet unless you really like it sweet. I’ve eaten a plate lunch several times and the lunches have always been pretty good. I’ve also bought whole glazed honey hams and smoked briskets and they are amazing.

The taste of this ham couldn't come close to Walmarts. I couldn't wait to get that gift card from my husband's work. This ham topped 7.4 lbs, that's including the plate to sit it on the scale. When I got home and opened it, someone had already took some off the top. Shame on you guys. I will definitely be contacting my husband's work. They buy hundreds of these cards. The employees would get more with a cash card. Stop doing shotty work. It's not like you.
