I don't know what has happened to this place but the supper buffet was awful! The food was hard and dried out...and wasn't very much to choose from. I have eaten here for lunch several times and it is always good at that time but this is the first time I have gone at night and I DO NOT recommend going (for supper). They don't keep the buffet stocked at night and what they do have ...is dried up and old...I was so disappointed. I didn't even get my favorite , crab meat/cream cheese wontons....when they FINALLY put more out...they were snatched up by someone in front of me!! And to top off the night...my fortune cookie fortune said 'foot' - the body part for finding furniture in the dark. ??????!!!!!! I hope they reevaluate their nightime offerings and fix things up with fresh food for the buffet...and the price for what we were offered/what we ate...$26!! I wish we had gone to burger king or taco bell with that $26!!

I only gave it one star because I had to. -***. Awful. Prefab Food lacks substance and flavor. Lacking variety. Two small buffet stands with a selection of 15 items(if that) in a place so small you can elbow the people at the other tables around you while eating, priced so high you could buy a weeks worth of groceries, and lack if service is not my idea of an enjoyable meal. Even the cashier was rude. I was told over and over how wonderful this place was. I don't know what they were smoking but the only wonderful thing I found was leaving and never going back.

I love this place, the food is excellent and the ladies that run it have such wonderful personalities. I know that I am going to miss them terribly because they are closing permanently 27th of October 2019 and moving back to their Homeland and will no longer be able to serve our community. They will be greatly missed.

The food is absolutely delicious, I mean everything tastes wonderful! The staff is so friendly and remember you after one visit. I have been going here for YEARS and will continue to go as long as I can.

I love the wantons and I love the vegetable lo mien, haven't tried anything else though. I can say that the lo mien is the best I've had in local area, it's my favorite place. Lost a star because they don't answer the phone sometimes and sometimes they're randomly closed.

It's not an extravagant dining place but quaint. Food was hot....I'm more of an original menu type guy. As long as my son was satisfied with what they had, I am as well.

They may not have a big buffet, but the owners always make you feel welcome. Many restaurants like this one have come to Richland, but they all faded away leaving Mai Tai, with the restaurant once again becoming the lone Asian cuisine restaurant in town. The owners outlasted all the rest because they became like family to so many people who grew up in Richland and continue to live in Richland. No restaurant will ever be able to beat Mai Tai’s fried rice or cream cheese wontons. That’s a fact.
