Aladdin Mediterranean Grill

We went for a late lunch before heading to the airport. On a Sunday, so no crowds. Restaurant is located nearby University Hospitals and they have a Grocery store on the back of parking lot. Clearly they are short staffed (as most places, blame it on Covid). Despite that, service was extremely friendly, attentive and efficient. Those 2 ladies were flying all over the place. Food came fast. We ordered some options of "combinations", appetizer combo, kebab combo, etc so we were able to try lots of different tastes Every single thing was AMAAAAZING. Meats were fresh and tender. Seasoning was excellent. We were literally scratching the dishes with bread at the end, no hummus to be wasted! "Great Food" said our friend who is Iranian Kurdish. He knows how it should taste, I guess. LOL We ended with a variety of desert options and tea. As odd as it sounds, among baklava, birds nest, etc. try their homemade tiramisu. Homemade indulgence! It was a perfect way to end our trip to Jackson MS. Can't wait to go back again!

Really enjoyed our time at Aladdin! We had the best server ever, shout out to Jamie. I had the mint tea to drink 🤩. My entree was the lamb chops! I ordered them medium rare and they were perfectly juicy and tender. The kids got the chicken nuggets and fries. My husband loves their Gyros. Most of the meals are paired with this perfect rice. The salad is so fresh and has the lightest dressing on top👩‍🍳🤌🏾. Hummus is A1!

Nice, friendly staff and a pretty dining room, but the food was mediocre. Got the hummus, pita bread, fried cheese, kababs, and baklava. Pita bread tasted like day old packaged bread. Fried cheese was cold. Kababs had no flavor. And the baklava’s bottom layer was so tough I couldn’t cut it bite through it.

Long time customer, first time reviewer. I have lived out of state for over 5 years and have yet to find hummus as good as Aladdin’s. I make sure to visit when I’m here. The customer service is top notch and the quality and flavor of the food keeps me coming back. These are the chicken lula and kabab plates with a side of gyro meat. Amazing.

One of the best Mediterranean restaurants I've had in the US. Their food is so good and decently priced. Service is fast. This time i ordered Chicken Kabob plate. The chicken is perfectly cooked and seasoned. . Beneath it a bed of well cooked rice. It comes with a side of Hummus and a side salad. Very much recommended.
