Vibrant, music filled spot for some Tres Leches and coffee. Others were having full meals (didn't have one myself so can't comment on the quality) but we were there for some dessert after having Pho across the street. Great spot. Nothing fancy but lively with a kind staff.

A bakery with typical products of the area with a big seating area. Why a 4? Because they really couldn't understand me. Just a heads up that the English isn't so very good- keep an eye on what they serve you and charge you Tastey

I’m glad I didn’t read the reviews of this place before I tried it… one thing about NYC I’ve learned is take reviews w a grain of salt. Always stop here before I get on the bus to LaGuardia from subway. Haven’t been disappointed in two+ years and it’s one of places I look forward to visiting each trip. It can be kind of awkward because I don’t speak Spanish and get confused for a Latino a lot due to my complexion. It’s also hard to tell what different bakery/ cake items are because there’s no signage. It’s clear Spanish speaking people are their primary audience. If you can swallow your pride enough and handle feeling a bit uncomfortable you’ll be happy once you sit down. I just point and say uni or dos. Tpday I tried the pao de queijo and the tres leches, both were gone within a few bites. If you like black coffee make sure to make that clear or yours will come w creamer and sugar, still great. Price was right as I got all three for ~$10.

every time I feel like eating chicken soup I go to this place to eat, which is very good. The only thing I have to say to be better is that the cooks sear the chicken pieces and there are many bits of bone left and you have to be careful not to swallow them so as not to hurt yourself. The best thing would be to chop the prey well at the joints instead of hitting it with an ax that fills the soup with splinters. As for the place... well... what can I say... it's a typical food place on Roosevelt Avenue, very basic, but the girls who serve it are extremely kind and responsible. They try to keep the space in the best condition they can. You know that Roosevelt Avenue is not characterized as a walk where hygiene and order abound....

Great little spot that is VERY convenient if you are using the metro to hop between JFK and LaGuardia. You have to get off at Jackson Heights and this bakery is right across the street period way cheaper and better than anything you can get at the airport
