The Empanadas are stuffed pretty well, and each one had a nice crispy to them. Don't forget to ask for your sauces. The Hot green and pink sauce were our favorites.

I had all wheat empanadas. For beef, I liked the cheeseburger and cheese steak. The mamis .. not so much. For chicken, the fajita had more flavor and was juicier. The regular chicken was dry and just jam-packed with shredded chicken.
I also got the tamal, mixed meat (pork & chicken), with white rice. I didn't like the chicken because it has a bone in it. The white rice is good! They salted it or flavored it with something. I'm not a fan of plain white rice, but I'll be eating this one.

Best variety of empanadas..made with corn or wheat...best hot sauce, lentil with beef soup on Tuesdays and chicken soup on Thursdays are delicious..tastes homemade 😋 chicken wings are very good too...pair with Postobon apple soda and you're good to stay and eat in or take out!

I thought I ordered from mamas empanadas but when I got there it was a different store. Iam glad I made that mistake because their food is actually better than mamas empanadas. The food taste fresh and not oily and the sauces are very tasty as well. WORTH THE TRY.

Best kept secret of Queens. Cheap and delicious. Best authentic empanadas in NYC. Corn shell is traditional, but many options. And get the green sauce. Spicy, but so good. They're plantain soup is like abuelita made it from scratch. Feels like home.
