Gazebo Restaurant & Cocktail

We found this hotel in Ithaca NY to be a clean and orderly hotel. Our room was clean, and the rooms are well designed and decorated. The desk staff were very nice and great to work with. I'm especially greatful that, given we had to check out two days early from our initial reservation, the hotel desk manager was very courteous and professional and nice to work with. Holiday Inn gave me a refund for the two nights we did not stay there. I will continue to frequent Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotels in our travels - this brand continues to be my favorite hotel of choice when traveling.

Staff was siper nice! Beakfast was hot, delicious, and clean. Pool was nice way to cool off after a long day of exploring. My only complaint: the main entry/exit is very difficult to see traffic to the left when exiting because several small trees are blocking the view of fast moving traffic. It felt risky every time we pulled out.

Room is very clean. There isn't a bathtub, just shower, and it sounds like it's going to crack when walking on it. The hotel is right beside Elmira Rd which is very noisy. I was woken up by the motors early in the morning and couldn't fall asleep again. Try your best to get a room away from the street. The provide complementary breakfast but selectis limited.

Pros: spacious room, clean and contemporary bathroom, decent size pool, good breakfast choices with a cappuccino machine, friendly staff, quick check in Cons: only 2 bath towels in the room despite a reservation for 4, very poor sound proofing, flimsy wall/ceiling, no toilet papers in the lobby restroom

We had stayed with two college-aged children here. The location was great and the facilities in the room were very clean. There is an elevator, which is good for moving luggage, ice in front of the elevator was convenient, and slippers are not provided. Especially the breakfast was very good. I couldn't find anything wrong with it. It's the best value for money and facilities in this neighborhood.
