Great food in a fairly small restaurant. Service was good and the food was worth the wait. The veggies on my veggie sandwich were grilled perfectly and full of flavor and the falafel was really good. Fantastic spot for our lunch.
Tasty food! We stopped here for a late lunch this past weekend and were happy with the food and service. The Mazda sampler platter was really good!
Great presentation. Even better tasting. Plus the owner and staff member where very friendly and personable!!!
Good food, very flavorful and great service. On the pricey side for the amount of food you get.
Upscale 5 star Moroccan cuisine wrapped in casual prices, generous portions, and friendly welcoming staff. My new favorite restaurant! Chef is very accommodating of allergies or other special dietary needs. Wonderful menu, including many vegetarian and vegan choices.
This is one of those hidden gems on the Ithaca Commons. It may not look like much on the outside, but this place is magical. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had these amazing fried brussel sprouts with some hot tea to start. My significant other and I both got a couscous dish, a
FINALLY some good [non-Italian] Mediterranean food in Ithaca! Cool vibe, wonderful aromas, first-class service, and absolutely delectable food. A real surprise and gem! Highly recommended for anyone who likes Moroccan or Middle Eastern fare.
Great traditional Moroccan food without the restaurant prices. Very accommodating and friendly service. Only visiting for a few days but want every one to know this place exists. Owner is very personable and likes talking to all the patrons of the restaurant.
Very good Moroccan food and friendly service! We had the tajine and royal couscous. Fresh ingredients and very tasty! Next time we are in town we'll definitely eat there again.
The Chicken Couscous was really delicious and had amazing flavor with a perfect balance of spices. We had a great meal and such a nice conversation with the owner- I highly recommend you stop in for a meal 🌺
My favorite place to eat in town. The healthiest food you can find. The beef plate with baba ganoush is the best. The owner is also a very very friendly person. The place is hygienic and they play good middle eastern music. In total a great place to eat at.
I tend to hand out too many 5-star reviews. The first reason is, I tend to only review the places I like. I always feel like people who leave 3 or 2-star reviews are just kinda jerks. 1-star reviews are for warning people of something truly awful.
That said, I'm going to start handing out more 4-st
Had the salmon tagine and it was excellent. Wonderfully spiced and cooked with olives, peppers, potato, carrots, and lemon. Presented in the traditional tagine dish. You can also get a lot of your usual Mediterranean fare here, but if you’re at a Moroccan restaurant, you should eat their specials im
Great breakfast and fast service. The owner, Adil, is on site most of the time and makes sure quality is top notch. We will come back to try the Moroccan food.
Good customer service and a best place to discover middle eastern food. Adil and his wife are friendly you guys should try the Moroccan food as well as having it in a small towns like Ithaca is rare.
Delicious Moroccan food! Try the Zaalouk (a fragrant eggplant appetizer), the Marrackech Tagine (lamb shank, wonderfully tender), and the Bastilla (philo dough with chicken and a hint of cinnamon). Served with gracious Mediterranean hospitality.
I have known Andy for a few years now and can honestly say he's always made some of the best food I've ever tasted. The Commons Kitchen as well as Ithaca are privileged to have this man's talent.
Great service and the food was amazing! Also so impressed by the staff working. 2 people working and you don't wait like normal restaurants.
I tried the Kofta sandwich it was excellent! Fresh vegetables, fresh meat, even bread freshly baked. Absoutely delicious! Fries were great too!
