Carriage House Cafe - Ithaca - Photo album

Really nice for coffee and scones! Lots of interesting flavors of scones - we got chocolate earl grey and chocolate ginger. Both were delicious. There’s normally a wait for the brunch, but you can order the coffee and scones from the counter without waiting.
Mark has been here all three times we've visited over the last few months, and has always taken great care of us. This is the only place we've found in Ithaca so far that makes cappuccinos the same way we had them in Italy on our honeymoon and is a staple of me and my wife's dining experience in the
I have to say that they have the best scones I've tried in my life. Scones are fresh, delicious, and soft. The salmon sandwich was okay but not as good as the scones. Btw, two blocks from this place you can enjoy the amazing view of the picture I share.
Had a wonderful brunch. Excellent menu and not cost prohibitive for the value. The only glitch we had was as a party of five we had to wait a bit longer ~40min. In their defense it was homecoming weekend. We took a walk down to the bridge over the Cascadilla Gorge Trail by the University. There is a
It was a really nice spot! I had a scone breakfast sandwich that was delicious. After reading about the history, it was cool to note that most of the interior was made out restored parts of the old carriage house from the 1800s. Definitely will go again!
This café and breakfast spot is a must visit if you're a local or just visiting. Great options that will amaze you each bite. The staff is on top of things and I highly recommended this café.
People may tell you to get the sconewich, but the pankakes are the new hotness. You may think of pankakes as a regular old breakfast, but these pankakes... Well, let's just say that this is a plate of utter bliss with every bite. The texture perfectly compliments the lemony hints, and the syrup serv
Scrumptious breakfast choices, great service, and cozy atmosphere make this place a win!
A great place to get brunch! Excellent coffee and food, along with great service.
Food is good but expensive. A good place to go for a special occasion but too pricey for a routine brunch.
Ordered the vegetarian strata and it was delicious. Service was good
I love everything about this restaurant. The food were amazingly delicious and the atmosphere was very classic and chick. I ordered an Omelette and a cinnamon latte. Both were fabulous. The fried onion in the Omelette made it exquisite and the coffee was the best coffee I get in United States. I hi
Great place for brunch! The scones are incredible; I particularly recommend their savory scones. The french toast is delicious too. Be warned however that the wait time during the weekend is pretty long. Just this Sunday, I had to wait 50 mins for a table for 2. Fortunately, they open the area upsta
THIS. IS. MY. FAVORITE. PLACE. IN. ITHACA. I don't give a lot of 5 star reviews. Even the reviews I give typically have at least one negative. I have no complaints about the Carriage House. After hearing about it, driving past, it and googling the menu countless times...I finally made the trip for
The carriage house is probably one of, if not the, best brunch spots in Ithaca. We had Mark as our waiter and he was awesome at what he does! The food was wonderful, thoughtful dishes, and healthy portions. They do a great job showcasing the fingerlakes veggies and meats, and some awesome local farm
Even though they forgot to put in our order and our food was very late, our waiter was very apologetic and brought out free espresso drinks. The food was very good and the scones were awesome. Coffee has a nice low acid taste. Prices are slightly high but will go back.
The atmosphere is great. A very warm, cozy, and rustic building that just feels comfortable. The food is very good. I had the pastrami salmon LT: the bread was amazing, the spreads were great, and the flavor was incredible. What really hampers this place is the service. There are probably only 13 ta
