Like many businesses, they seem to be struggling with staff. Only 1 server, running around like crazy, but so pleasant when taking our order, so kudos to her! I used to love this restaurant. Prices were great and liked the family restaurant environment. I was highly disappointed today with my food. I ordered French toast(to go) and needless to say I spent $9.08 on 2 slices of bread! I will not be going back. Way too much money for nothing.

I just love and adore Island Lake cafe, they have not only the best food but they have the best collection of Betty boop memorabilia I've ever seen my best friend is a Betty boop nut and every time we go she always sees something that she doesn't have which makes going there that much more enjoyable

I love the Island Cafe cause they have such a variety of yummy things on thier menu....it was hard to decide what I wanted to eat. Their food is excellent and very good prices and the waitresses are so friendly and nice too. I love eating there.
