Miso Ramen and fried chicken was delicious! Portions were huge, and service was very friendly and quick!

This is a staple Japanese ramen place for us. Make sure you use the Yelp waitlist before you go to avoid long wait! I ordered the umakara tan tan ramen. Highly recommended if you are looking for a creamier and slightly spicy soup base

One of the best ramen in So Cal. Food here is consistently good along with service.
Go to here is the green chili shio ramen for me.

Easily the best ramen in South OC! Start with the pan-fried gyoza, get the juicy fried chicken, and then enjoy the melt in your mouth charshu and unique, made-from-scratch noodles. We've tried the rest, but keep finding ourselves coming back to the best!

My favorite place to eat ramen noodles. Their broth is tasty, not too salty and not greasy. The fresh noodles are delicious with perfect consistency and the meat is so good!

Green Chili Shio Ramen extra spicy with seasoned egg omg, so good, love the service here, Buena Park and Costa!!!

The ramen is insane here, I highly recommend this place! The servers are always nice, the place is clean, the food is amazing, and the prices are reasonable. I do have to warn you though, if it's the weekend, be prepared to wait. Put your name down and have your phone in your hand at all times because the wait can either be 10 minutes or an hour. Other than that, if you love Guy Fieri and want to go to flavor town, go to Kitakita.

I’ve tried many ramen in/near Irvine and this one is one of my favorite. I seldom give all 5 stars to a restaurant. I always have kitakata ramen with dried seaweed and a seasoned egg. The ban nai bowl has 1:1 meat rice ratio. The new product, cold ramen, released on 7/1/2023 tastes great. The soup tasted like soy sauce with ice cubes rather than the original broth, leading to a slightly salty but free of oil taste. The shashu has a wasabi and a piece of lemon on the side.
In addition, the fried chicken is really good!

We came to this place only because another restaurant had about 1.5 hour wait, but man, I'm happy we did. the broth and flavor of the umakara ramen i got was amazing! Spicy, rich and flavorful. The large portion was indeed large and I was satisfied. My wife got a miso ramen and she loved it just as much. Both ramen really hit the spot. We will definitely be back, definitely our go to ramen spot now!

Visited first the first time recently, came all the way from Australia and was craving a solid bowl of ramen and gotta say this hit the spot SO GOOD.
Perfect eggies, amazing noodle firmness, perfect tofu (not too squishy or mushy) gloriously rich broth... Gosh I could eat it forever.
Thankyou for the wonderful service too! My water glass was always full (blessed) and although the restaurant was very busy, we didn't have to wait long at all.
