Paper Lantern Dumpling House

What a tasty lil dumpling house. The service is always quick and kind and the food is consistently good. My family and I have come here many times and we just keep coming back for their noodles, egg soup and lamb dumplings.. best part is their rarely a wait.. FYI I don’t know what’s up with the bad reviews, maybe the negative review customers are used to McDonald’s and pickup sticks.. if ur looking for something tasty and easy at diamond center this is the place.

I like it. It has a small menu with limited items. Yet they have some vegetarian options. Food is flavorful and served hot/fresh. Prices $-$$ There is parking right outside, however, the area is always busy because of H-mart and a lot of other popular hangout places. So parking can be a bit hard to find.

Place was clean. Waitress was attentative and patient. Our first time here so we asked a lot of questions. She was more than kind to answer all of them. Got us the drink orders quickly. Food came out as soon as they were done. The House Special Sauce noodles came first. They remind me of noodles in black bean sauce. Presentation was nice but the noodles tasted just OK. Glad that it was not salty. Used it to balance out the spicy beef skillet. Next came the onion pancake and shao lon bao. Those were actually pretty good. Beef skillet came out next and then the two fried dumplings. All were pretty good. Spicy beef skillet was really spicy. Tasted like it had the Chinese hot pepper in it.
