Auger Inn

One of the few places open late.....ok so ohio law states that establishments (bars) can stay open up until 230am..... I'm from Columbus so I'm used to that... the big shock down here was that 95% of places, even bars, close at 10-11pm. Even some gas stations around here won't even sell beer on Sundays at all.. even though it's allowed by law.... now I know there are different licenses but still.... this place was actually open as late as they could be by ohio law which was a shocker..... if you're a drinker down in Southern Ohio, have fun trying to find places to sell late or even on Sundays at all. Overall, a good local dive bar to meet up with people.

New owners took over about 2 years ago and it's not a good place anymore. The burgers here used to be fantastic. Now they use frozen preformed patties. Half the menu was also unavailable. The older local crowd has seem to have disappeared. I know why, rap music with cussing lyrics was playing for a younger crowd. Hard to get service because the bartender was outside smoking constantly. I had to walk outside to tell her all the customers had no drinks. Well she still finished her cigarette before walking back in. Plus she didn't wash her hands after smoking outside before serving waiting customers.

There's always been a family atmosphere "Larry, Timmy , God loves Wanda. Tim has always been a great friend, when we would run around with the Perkins guys, Whitey, Jeff, John. Yrs, ago there wasn't anyone safe from losing to us at Foosball. Rockdale, To Ashland, Russell. I'll always enjoy my friends, cold beer home away from home, great food, and good times.
