Quite light on the Indian seasonings, I would say it’s a bit watered down/Americanized. The pakora is battered and fried broccoli florets, cauliflower florets, and potato chunks. Tandoori chicken was juicy, however, lacked the flavored, and butter chicken was acidic and average tasting.
This samosa I got from there looks and test like made out of leftovers food. Don't even deserve 1 star. I suggest every one to try Haveli restaurant in Coralville.
In the mood for Indian food? This is the place to go! They're great because they ask your spice tolerance every time, regardless if you've been there before. If you're accustomed to spice I think the 8 or 9 with curries would be pretty spicy. If you're looking for a very mild spice 5 or 6 is a good
we ordered food from here. The rice was definitely not fresh at all. The lamb tikka masala was not hard. We ordered 2 meals from here and they only gave us one container of rice with them. Food quality is bad overall, and the it’s not fresh.
Went for the first time today. Some of the best Indian food I have ever had in Iowa! So good give it a try. Somoza’s were amazing!!
Ordered delivery - garlic naan and spicy lamb curry. Hands down - the best I have ever had! Super soft naan, just the right amount of char.
They asked how spicy I wanted my curry - I asked for 8/10 - they nailed it (I like my food REALLY spicy, so I would probably rate this a comparative 6). There
Pretty amazing to find an Indian restaurant in downtown Iowa City! Very good lunch buffet-good selection and well laid out. Spice is toned down somewhat, but still very good. Reasonable prices. Good service. I'll be back the next time I come to Iowa City.
Samosas is very bad and I ordered veg biryani but I got rice mixed with Chole and panner. I waste my $17
