Review Burger King - Ionia

This place has awesome staff. Sometimes I get there like at 12:50am, and I figure my fries will be terrible but I don't want to bother them by asking for fresh fries because I know they are all tired and want to get home. But the amazing thing is that most of the time I still get fresh fries without asking! Yeah Lisa is so nice, so is Jacob, Erin (she moved to day shift), Trish, John, Owen (I think he left) and so many others. Oh and the morning girl (Ashley) is great too but I almost never can get up for the morning breakfast. Anyway, Lisa and crew make my whopper with cheese or junior whopper with cheese so delicious! They definitely load it it up with heavy tomatoes and onions. Many times they just put extra everything so the burger is nice and juicy (never dry). And usually my fries and onion rings are fresh/hot even at almost closing time (and I didn't even ask for fresh).

Probably the overall best Burger King I have been to. That isn't a glowing recommendation because most Burger Kings aren't that great. But the owners here keep the place up, workers are among the best you will find at a Burger King and the food is OK. I try not to go to fast food more than a couple times a month, but if you are in a hurry, you can do a lot worse that this place for fast food. I also give Burger King credit for adding plant based options to their menu. A side note, both my kids got their first summer job here 30 or so years ago, and frankly it was quite poorly run.and bad even for a Burger King. It ended up good for the kids though. The first day of work, they put my 15 year old son on the cash register because he was the only employee who could count money accurately. 2 years later when my daughter worked a summer, she was frequently harassed, but held her own and put the creeps in their place. The place has improved dramatically since then. The good thing was after working there, the kids determined they would study hard to improve themselves so they could hopefully do better both eventually went to graduate school in medicine and law, and work in those fields to this day. Some not so great things can end up leading to better things. I do give credit though to the current ownership turning this place into a solid fast food restaurant.

I've never been a fan of Burger Kings food. Tonight, this was the only place open. It was drive thru only with a huge line backed up to the road. The backup wasn't because they were slow it was because they were the only place open due to the power outages. I'm giving a good review for the service. They were quick, accurate, and friendly. Normally, when I go to fast food and things are hectic and very busy, the servers are not friendly. Kudos to the workers tonight they were great.

Visited early for breakfast. Drive through. Staff were super nice and polite. The food was hot and seemed fresh, it didn't seem like it sat for a long time. The coffee was hot. A better Burger King than most.

Thank God this one is better than Greenville ..they were nice but what is great for fast food standards is that everything's is hot. BK in Greenville in the saddest worst excuse so this one here is nice for fast food. Food is hot employees are not throwing things at each other or forgetting so many pieces of your order that it causes frustration.

Quick service, friendly staff. Whopper was not just thrown together. It was well made.

Didn't want to cook after a long day stopped to get dinner and went through the drive through. Heather was the one taking my order. I got a chicken sandwich meal and a cheese burger and a Jr whopper. When I got to the window Heather was very nice and informed me they didn't have what I ordered to drink. That was fine though I just got a differed drink. When she handed me back my card after I paid she handed me a dog treat for my dog that was riding with me. That was so nice and a really cool thing to do! My only complaints that I have are small ones. They forgot to put cheese on my whopper Jr (I asked for cheese I know it doesn't come on it) and my fries were soggy. But all in all I was happy and so was my dog.

Super fresh with grest offers with the App. Just went through after a major power outage, so they were swamped, but they were still so friendly and accurate with orders. Well done!

Years ago, fast food restaurants were run by people who had been there awhile, who knew what they were doing, and who processed your order with efficiency. This BK is still in that vein. Jason did a great, professional job taking the order and they got us our food quickly and correctly.

Food is generally good. I think they are severely short staffed so you can't expect the same service as before 2020. To be fair it's not bad, just a little more time. Update 3/25/22- Drive Thru is still slow but now it arms consistent. Just can't be in a hurry.

Only ordered a giant coke, but the staff were friendly and fast!

Food tastes good but good luck trying to get the food you ordered, how you order it. Very rarely do they make our order correctly, but every time the order slip is correct.

No pop. No towels in bathroom. Out of ketchup! Come on folks, get prepared!

Ordered a coffee waited 11 months bs for it. Husband ordered a meal and it tasted all old. All the workers moved slow and you could tell by their faces and attitudes they hated being there. Worst service ever!

Normally I like burger king, but right now I feel sick due to the original chicken sandwich. I dont know if it was the high grease content or of it was undercooked. But I've ever felt like this after eating here before.

Been waiting in line over twenty minutes getting ridiculous

One of the worst experience we've had at this location. My fiance got charged for two triple whoppers when we only wanted one, you're lucky we got both and weren't just changed for it. My fiance asked if the bacon cheeseburger came with mustard and was told no, then when she got them they had mustard on them. We weren't given straws OR a receipt. I'm not sure who any of the girls working were but I know it wasn't the girl we usually see named Erin and she is awesome. Not impressed at all.

How do u make cold onion rings in a drive thru? Gross

With a mini lounge, TV, fire place and 4 computers and WiFi the best fast food place I've been to.

Does the morning crew have a problem giving you the hashbrowns you order and pay for??? Three times in a row I go there and every time they forget the hashbrowns! And when I go inside to get them they act like I'm causing them the issue. HASHBROWNS!!!!! Step it up morning crew! Booooo!

Always friendly service!

Usually things are good. But tonight was REALLY bad!!!! People having to wait way to long for there food. One guy was waiting 15 minutes. We waited about 10 minutes. ALL THIS WAS IN THE DINING AREA. Drive thru person WAS taking the food not waiting to see if they were for the drive thru. We came ALL THE WAY FROM LOWELL. P.S. IF WE HADN'T PAID FOR OUR ORDER WE WOULD HAVE WALKED OUT.
