The dumplings and mussels were good. The spare ribs in peking sauce was not good, too sweet and thick, not savory at all. Everything else was okay.
They do have the yummy dam some to eat if you love it and then you better to coming right here but sad face they don't make the Tofuflower (豆花)anymore of my gosh it's was made me so sad
I had high hopes for their house made Chow Fun noodles. The noodles themselves were good, but they were swimming in oil, and they lacked the kiss of the wok that's so alluring when done well.
Absolutely on point! We've never eaten here previously, but if our first visit is any indication of the quality, size of portions, or great taste that A & L regularly produces, then i think we have just found our new go-to Chinese spot!

As a Woodbury resident, we are excited to try out this place. Sad to say but everything at A & L are pre‐cooked, not freshly steamed. We ordered chicken feet, pork and shrimp dumplings, steam sticky rice , pork ribs, tofu skin and egg custards. I mean everything, not a single item is fresh.
Excellent food. Lots of flavor. Beautifully prepared. We got takeout. Ordered when we got there and waited about 25 minutes. Totally worth it. Hot and sour soup is definitely hot! Sesame chicken is good, egg roll pretty good and veggie spring roll a little greasy but ok. Will it be our go to? Probably not but it's definitely in the top five for the area for taste and $$.
