Great food!! Just like my German Mother-in-law
makes and what I had in Germany!!! Service was just as great!!! Attentive, but not to the point of being annoying!! Next time we travel to the Twin Cities we'll be back!!!
Food is delicious- get a Max burger and mugs are frosty! I love a good old Midwestern dive! The bad reviews are from people who don't know how to chill!
Best breakfast in the area, just need more hollandaise sauce...lol

This place is just fun, and hearty enough to help you brave that winter storm. Not the place to go if you want to be upscale and persnikkity, but ideal if you want some traditional German food at reasonable prices. I had the house Platte where you get some of everything, and I would recommend having at least two to dine on this if they are big eaters, four if they are more average. Lots of beer, lots of happy people including families at lunch, and a place that I have already been back to!
It’s a pub with a great selection of eats. That’s why I gave it 5 stars. It’s not a gastropub, although I had a lovely veggie option from their menu called, asparagus plate. Recently remodeled, it’s much lighter and brighter inside and still offers a variety of German meals.
Rock Solid Perfect every time! We order online & pickup frequently as the Bierstube is minutes away. The food, no matter what you choose is always done right, on time, packed & ready to go. Home made goodness and consistency is what makes a restaurant successful. No Doubt the Bierstube is one of our favs. Give them a try - I'm certain you'll be a regular.

We've visited this establishment many times, but from even the first visit it feels like coming home. The staff and ambiance are always welcoming, food is great (and affordable), and there's plenty of entertainment between pull tabs & game shows.
What a fun environment! German food was tasty. Beer selection is very nice. Friendly and capable service.
SO glad we finally came in here to try it out. Mary gave us amazing service. Drinks were really good. The food was AWESOME! All the kids are all of their food. My husband loved his Mega BLT. The bacon is phenomenal. Will be back for sure. Highly recommend!
