Lovely lighted outdoor venue, gracious hosts, accommodating staff, delicious buffet, beautiful night, and a wonderful awards ceremony! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend that others visit this establishment! Terry and Ross Brinson, Rossland, British Columbia, Canada.

We had a lovely lunch on the patio. Service was great. We then went into the shop and viewed the film of the history of Shoelds before walking into the gardens. It was such a lovely experience all around and a great change from sitting around the pool. And, the date shake was absolutely delicious. A desert tradition not to be missed.

We live right behind shields and have never been there! It was excellent! They seated us quickly, server took a little longer than desired to greet us, but they were busy! The food was excellent but a little pricy for three. After the delicious meal, we walked the grounds. Beautiful beautiful beautiful! Will return!

We had a very yummy lunch. We sat on the patio which was lovely. The weather was perfect that day. I had the benedict with fruit on the side, it was delicious. The grounds were nice to walk around. The date shakes were also a must have!! Our young kids enjoyed it too.

Nice place with incredible food options! We had the date omelette and the burrito machaca, amazing! The service was fast and the attendants very cordial. The place has a Christian atmosphere with a garden with nice trees and some biblical passages.

Early morning breakfast, I came with friends at 8:30am and was only the 2nd people here...by the time I left it was completely full, no tables by 10:30am. They have plenty of parking with overflow parking on the east side of the parking lot under the palm trees. The service and our waiter were amazing, we were served fast, and our server was attentive to our needs, there was 8 of us, so we used 2 tables. Breakfast was good, nothing fancy, just good breakfast. The grounds are beautiful, and the weather was nice for an early morning breakfast with friends...side note....it is Fly season and they were out in abundance trying to catch a bite so be aware of the pesky things.

Good Chorizo Burrito, very filling. Banana & Walnut Pancakes would be better if the banana and nuts were in the batter instead of just the topping.

I have driven over 80 miles just to have their date burger. It is without a doubt the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. I’m not one to put anything extra on my hamburger but the dates and blue cheese and the way they fix it is out of this world. Accompanied by fresh fruit and great service

We stopped in after church to have an early lunch/late breakfast. I finally tried something other than *chiliquales. The biscuits and gravy were delicious, and the side of fruit a good balance. It was busy but staff provided good customer service. It was nice to visit again.

I often visit Shields to take a stroll in the back of the facility, where you will get an education in the journey and life of Jesus. The outside patio was full of customers. There was a solo music artist there as well. A must stop and learn about how our Valley, Coachella is the Date Capital of the US!
