This was the 1st bar I went to in Indiana and it's been my favorite since.
There's live music every Thursday night. 9 till 11
Open mic for comedy on Sunday evening 7 to 9
Music trivia (7 to 9) followed by an Open stage/karaoke for whatever talents you posess on Tuesday nights...
Man this place is a one stop shop for fun and entertainment...

Great place to have a drink and hear live music. They also have karaoke beer specials and drink specials. The food menu is very limited but decent. They also just added a huge Greek salad to the menu for those vegetarians who need to munch.

Absolutely amazing time. I'm an old dude so dive bars are my comfort and this place is amazing. Awesome bartenders, karaoke was amazing, just a superb time and I'll definitely be back!!!!

Has new owners, and they have been updating the place. It looks really good and love that they have karaoke. You should definitely check it out, you might find yourself a new hangout spot 😀

Colonial Tavern, Indianapolis is a great host for our Wine and Canvas events! I am a Art instructor for Wine & Canvas and I do monthly classes there. Lori, the owner is very accommodating and great to work with. The atmosphere is great and the servers are friendly and sufficient. But the best part of it is that our clients have great time and create beautiful masterpieces! If you are looking for a space to do an event, I would recommend Colonial Tavern.
