Cancun Mexican Restaurant

Food - Based on veggie food, I would rate it medium, rice was good and very different from other Mexican restaurants; Salsa dip is better than most other restaurants. Ambience- not what I had expected, old furniture, floor, etc. Needs upgrade. Service - top notch (young person who served our table was really good, refilled water many times, checked with us how things were at least three times, asked if we wanted some more chips, etc.) Price- slightly higher than other restaurants. Overall - good.

I actually drive over from Zionsville to get the asada steak tacos here. All the places near me the steak is dry and not very flavorful, but it is nice and juicy and well seasoned. I ask for the salsa verde with it and it is just wonderful. I am also a big fan of the white queso. Salsa isn't the best, but edible. Knocked of a star because after I got my food, service for refills and getting the check was slow, but the are understaffed, which is noted on a large sign as you walk in. No biggie. I ordered the churros for dessert, and they tasted great but probably needed a little more time in the fryer since the middles were still cold. Overall, I would still come back because I don't need dessert anyway and the tacos are better than the Mexican places closer to me.
