Downtown Olly's

Went for trivia on a Thursday on the patio. Best most interactive, mobile ran trivia Ive ever experienced. Come to PLAY. There are many groups who are regulars. Super recommend based on that alone. There was a decent amount of free parking when we arrived, but beware it probably gets super crowded on the weekends. Anyway service was ok, food was excellent. The fried green tomatoes and house remoulade were fantastic, chicken tenders too. Both had a thin batter and were very fresh. The drinks were strong so beware, but decent prices for sure. Not many beer option. I felt extremely welcome here and had a good time overall. My two complaints: I had to ask our waitress if she was bringing my tenders because they were clearly forgotten about. That’s always a bit of an awkward interaction for someone like me. And the bathrooms are simply gross. Smelly, wet, etc. Definitely need some attention. I will definitely be back and would certainly recommend.

I really enjoy going to Ollys when Ryan is working. He makes some of the best food I've ever had. I came in a few times and had my food burnt or undercooked, one night i came in couple weeks ago and asked for my burger to be cooked a certain way, apparently he only knows how to cook burgers properly bc any other time i ask for medium I always get charred. I hear a lot of regulars like Ryan, with all this positive stuff I hear about Ryan and his cooking I would hate to see food sales after he leaves. I would try and keep him at all cost Also the only cook that will come out and ask how your food was if he’s not busy there, probably the only cook that cares bout the customer

Easily my favorite place in Indianapolis. SO fun. Recommend karaoke. The drinks are STRONG so be sure to pace yourself!!!!! Cannot emphasize that enough!!!!!! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Clearly have the patrons' best interests in mind. Order the pineapple mimosa it's really good. Oh and the fried mushrooms!!!!!
