We stopped in for the first time today after church, and though they were obviously very busy, you would have never known by the excellent service we received. My coffee cup never got below half full before being refilled, our waitress stopped by our table frequently, and the food was fantastic. We’ll definitely be returning and would 100% recommend this establishment to others. �
Wonderful staff highly knowledgeable about menu. Also delightful to interact with. The food is good quality with good portion size.

It is so great to have another diner type restaurant in Geist. We have had breakfast there twice. The food is delicious, the wait staff is friendly and the service is fast. Love this restaurant!

Maria and her crew are wonderful ! The food is excellent ! The girls that wait on the tables are excellent and very friendly .Even though the are very busy , you would never know it by the service we receive . Beverages are always filled . The girls work together well . We normally stop in every Sunday after church .

The first time being there. Atmosphere and the service was top notch. The reason I gave the food 4 stars is it was good, but it could have been heated up a little more. Probably just sitting in the window waiting on the rest of the order to be done. Food did have a great taste though. We will definitely go back.
Love this place! The staff is great, always smiling, friendly, and fast! Even when the restaurant is packed, somehow, the wait times are minimal. From order placed, to food in belly is quick as well, and the cooks have always provided great food! I enjoy the skillet dishes, with pancakes. The skillets are always fresh food, tasting great, and I dont even put syrup on the pancakes, they are just that good! If you can't tell, I really like this restaurant, you should go.
This is one of my favorite go to breakfast restaurants! It has good for for a reasonable price. I like they have great options that are not that expensive and also are portion sized for a filling but not over-stuffed breakfast. They also give a discount to senors like me. :)
Loved the oreo cheesecake pancakes and side of ham. Very extensive menu with everything served all open hours. The restaurant was extremely clean and our waitress was very attentive.
Awesome!! We are out of towner's and so happy we stopped here for breakfast. I had the spinach, swiss, bacon omelette and added mushrooms to it. Everything is made into the omelette instead of it being folded with everything in side. I loved it!
My oldest son had the farmers omelette, also loved it. Oldest daughter had a waffle with strawberry spread, other than dropping it on her shirt she was happy with her choice. Youngest had two cakes and bacon from kids meal, kids cakes were decent sized. My man got t-bone and eggs, fat, juicy, and full of taste he said.
Overall great experience, great service, great food. Wish we didn't live out of state bc this would be a go to place. Most definitely worth it❤️
I have eaten at hot cakes for ever.I went for take out all through covid. I go at least once a week now. The food is excellent as well as the service.
Best pancakes ever topped with the most generous serving of butter I've ever seen! Prices were quite reasonable (i.e. cheap), portions were great and service was attentive! Will go back again this week!
We really enjoyed our breakfast here! A very nice variety of menu options for a decent price. The coffee was good and my blueberry pancakes were tasty! I got the 2×2×2 which was 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon for $7.99 and this is what I got! A generous portion size!
Today Lilley was my server, she was attentive and quick to us. She got our orders correct, but kitchen staff didn't. It wasn't too bad and Lilley corrected it quickly though.
The food tasted more like Dairy Queen or another fast food place rather than something like Ocharleys or Applebees. Next time I come I'll try a crepe and if that still doesn't taste quite right I wont return.
Great little hidden place located east of Pendleton Pike considered the Oaklandon area. Great food and service! Very affordable and I love that Coupons come in blue month value pack that's mailed out so keep a look out $5 off or 20% off

Lots of menu choices but, I wanted to try the pancakes on my maiden voyage.
Absolutely the BEST! I had the Cherry Cheesecake Pancakes with a side of ham and my wife really enjoyed the Peach Pancakes with a side of sausage links.
Brook waited on us and she was truly a delight.
I'd highly recommend the Hotcakes Emporium!

This is a great place family's and friends to meet up. Or maybe even a small business meeting. The food is great, and the wait staff are awesome. What impressed me the most is how open the floor plan is, but it is very quiet. I've been to many places with a similar layout and you can hear a conversation from across the room. Not here.
I will be recommending this place to a number of friends that I know will love it.
