Yannis Golden Gyros

I don’t write reviews usually, but this place was great! The staff was friendly and our food came out quickly. My fiancé got the gyro plate which came with fries and feta and two servings for a gyro. I got the gyro sandwich. There was more than enough food. We each spent about $15 a person for the gyros, drinks, fries, and dessert. Their tzatziki is homemade and the perfect consistency. Highly recommend!

I've stopped here more times than I should admit. The outside looks kind of sketchy, and the inside is sort of muggy when the weather is hot, but they serve up some great food. The gyros are not only moist and perfectly seasoned, but they are generous with the serving size. You could almost feed two of us off of a Gyro Plate. We also tried the Chicken Gyro Plate and the Fried Catfish Dinner. The chicken gyros were also super generous, but drier than the normal gyros. And the catfish was pretty good - not fishy at all. The staff here were friendly and seemed to care a lot about the success of their business and keeping the customers happy.

Salad was excellent the first time I had it, the second time they forgot to put cheese on the salad and it was a lot of seasoning on the chicken. But other than that it was good. ( Updated) 5/19/23 Went back and got another salad and it was very good and it had cheese!!! But will definitely be back. One of the best salads I've had. Definitely deserves a five star. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

After moving to this section of town, I have been searching for a new place that makes wonderful gyros and gyro salads. With my busy schedule working nearby, I was able to stop and use the drive through feature to place an order. I ordered a gyro salad with extra meat which is suitable for my inability to eat bread. The salad that was prepared for me was very fresh and clean and was carefully prepared according to my instructions. I paid a small amount extra for the extra meat request but I was given a sizeable quantity which I feel was well worth the cost. They also have a large variety of meat options for folks who don't want the same old choices. I recommend this place to anyone looking for quality gyros to go in-between work or on the way home.
