I've stopped here more times than I should admit. The outside looks kind of sketchy, and the inside is sort of muggy when the weather is hot, but they serve up some great food.
The gyros are not only moist and perfectly seasoned, but they are generous with the serving size. You could almost feed two of us off of a Gyro Plate.
We also tried the Chicken Gyro Plate and the Fried Catfish Dinner. The chicken gyros were also super generous, but drier than the normal gyros. And the catfish was pretty good - not fishy at all.
The staff here were friendly and seemed to care a lot about the success of their business and keeping the customers happy.
Food wash hot and fresh. Fries were crispy. I got the BLT and it was on point. My wife got the catfish plate and it was perfectly done. Tarter sauce is awesome
Salad was excellent the first time I had it, the second time they forgot to put cheese on the salad and it was a lot of seasoning on the chicken. But other than that it was good. ( Updated) 5/19/23 Went back and got another salad and it was very good and it had cheese!!! But will definitely be back. One of the best salads I've had. Definitely deserves a five star. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
After moving to this section of town, I have been searching for a new place that makes wonderful gyros and gyro salads. With my busy schedule working nearby, I was able to stop and use the drive through feature to place an order. I ordered a gyro salad with extra meat which is suitable for my inability to eat bread.
The salad that was prepared for me was very fresh and clean and was carefully prepared according to my instructions. I paid a small amount extra for the extra meat request but I was given a sizeable quantity which I feel was well worth the cost. They also have a large variety of meat options for folks who don't want the same old choices. I recommend this place to anyone looking for quality gyros to go in-between work or on the way home.
I don’t write reviews usually, but this place was great! The staff was friendly and our food came out quickly. My fiancé got the gyro plate which came with fries and feta and two servings for a gyro. I got the gyro sandwich. There was more than enough food. We each spent about $15 a person for the gyros, drinks, fries, and dessert. Their tzatziki is homemade and the perfect consistency. Highly recommend!
Date night is always difficult to figure out. We decided to roll the dice and found ourselves at Yanni’s. The home made tzatziki sauce is to die for. The gyro plate was MASSIVE and the plate was generous to say the least. Everything tastes amazing and I will be coming back 100%!!!!!
The store was very clean, and also empty. It wasn't hard to pick a seat the booths were very comfortable. Ordering out food was quick and easy, the cashier is very nice. It took less than 10 minutes for us to get our food. I ordered the shrimp Basket Combo, the shrimp was very good and the French fries were some of the best one's I've had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to grab a quick bite, it is very cheap as well.
The dining room was closed so I used the drive thru. It took 15 minutes to get the order and I was the 3rd car in line. I ordered the gyro combo with fries and a drink. Along with a Greek salad. Both items were good for the price. Store is in an old Long John Silver's.
I went thru the drive thru for lunch and got chicken philly, fries and diet Pepsi. Food was hot and fresh. Dakota was very friendly. I will return to try the catfish.

By all that is sweet and holy, this is the best gyro place South of Chicago. Absolute perfection in food form. I might be biased because it's been awhile since I've had a good gyro, but it's amazing.
