Amazing spot to study, read, or have a conversation with someone while having some coffee. The sandwiches are top-tier, if I'm not mistaken their bread is freshly baked every morning. Also, I enjoy the background music that they usually play (alternative rock for the most part) and very friendly sta
Such a beautiful coffee shop nestled beside Fort Harrison State Park (you may have to search a bit other than GPS). Quite location, pretty interiors and such tasty salad and coffee! I tried the Antony Salad, delicious dressing with crunchy pumpkin seeds and fresh mint. The coffee shop has 2 floors,
I came here to meet with someone and get some breakfast (bagel sandwich and a chai) and here was my impression: Pros: Staff are friendly yet speedy, store is kept clean, food and drinks are good, and vibes are warm and cozy. Cons: Food and drinks are pricy, music is too loud, decor is a bit busy an
Cool local restaurant with a great vibe in a historic building on Fort Benjamin Harrison. They have a number of tasty sandwiches named after famous authors including vegetarian options, all served on their fresh focaccia bread. Upstairs they have a number of tables and cozy spots to enjoy a book, pl
One of my favorite coffee spots in Indianapolis. Independently and locally owned, delicious sandwiches for breakfast or lunch. Full size sandwiches are for big eaters, and half sandwiches are an option for less voracious appetites. Served with a side. Recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
Neat place to grab a sandwich or salad and they roast their own coffee. We all liked our food. Great place to share a conversation too
Loved the atmosphere! Coffee was delicious. We had breakfast, very enjoyable. Bread was wonderful. Would happily come back again!
Such a cute local bakery and sandwich shop we discovered through Yelp. Menu is online. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They are also taking precautions to protect their staff and customers from transmitting COVID-19. Fabulous food and great atmosphere. We will be back next time we are traveling
Love the atmosphere. Great place for some coffee and a bite to eat. My favorite biscuits and gravy ever!! The staff are always so happy to serve and it’s apparent that they are all treated properly and get along well with each other. A positive work environment goes a long way in the service industr
Cool little out-of-the-way coffee/sandwich (breakfast/lunch) shop… hard to find 56th-Ft. Ben …my Sammie is called the “Vonnegut” …get it 😊. It is 2 level, order downstairs (spiral staircase inside) or enter on lower level.
Love visiting Porter! The sandwiches use high quality ingredients, the coffee is roasted in house, and the atmosphere is awesome.
Lovely café to grab a drink or a meal. It was very nice to sit on the porch and read. The sandwich was tasty too!
Great place to chill and listen to some nice tunes. More than your typical coffe shop. Fresh bakes, great sammies, occasional events. There is also some off key whistling by the employees which should tell you they like working there. They use as many local ingredients as possible and have a nice pr
Nice quiet place to relax and unwind. Friendly helpful staff. Great handmade coffees and breads. Unique and wonderful feel tucked away inside old fort Benjamin Harrison
Found this by accident. We were just driving the area and thought we would stop in. Well were we surprised! Such a quaint and eclectic spot. Great coffee, and although we didn't order food it smelled delicious. Will be going back for their herb farmhouse bread! The environment is great for a meet up
easily my favorite cafe in the entire Indy/Larry(Lawrence) area. the atmosphere is great- super cool building. I love the staff- they’re all super kind and have excellent taste in music. there’s always! good tunes playing! then the food, holy smokes is it delicious. the people there definitely care
Great atmosphere, food and service. Excellent sandwiches served on homemade bread. On top of freshly roasted coffee they also had a nice beer and wine selection.
Trying for the first time as we just moved here. The ambience is great! Reminds me of a coffee shop from my college town. The coffee was good - has a kind of dark roast flavor and my grilled cheese was delish! Seems to be homemade bread and "real" cheddar cheese. Loved the homemade chips. Took
