Fantastic neighborhood joint. I've never found the staff to be anything less than welcoming and the food is rockin. I consider myself a bit of a snob when it comes to wings and theirs are pretty spot on. Always a good time!
Our first time dining Big Daddy’s Bar and Grill. Megan was awesome talking with us thru the menu and explaining how things are prepared. Food is delicious! Who would of ever thought pot roast on nachos would be so good!

We are here this evening, 10-21-14. We were surprised to find the restaurant over half full at 5 pm on a Tuesday. My husband works with a man who knows the owners, so we figured we'd give it a shot. The menu is immense and the prices are decent. We aren't drinkers so I didn't really pay attention to the drink specials. I ordered a steak Caesar salad and my husband ordered chicken tenders and fries. The food took FOREVER to come out but when it finally did arrive, it was worth the wait! I ordered the full portion of the Caesar and I wish I hadn't. It was easily enough salad for four people. The croutons were amazing, and the steak was large as well, probably an 8 oz steak. My only gripe about it was that I asked for the steak to be rare but it came out medium well. Still tender, though. My husband got chicken tenders and fries (at the recommendation of the server) and that portion was also easily enough for us to split. The chicken tenders were delicious and home made, as were the fries. The sauces they served with them were disgusting and straight out of the bottle (likely Heinz, as their logo was everywhere in the place.) skip the sauces if you order them; the tenders speak for themselves. I was a little put off that it was a $2 upcharge for fries and we weren't told. For 1 soft drink and 2 entrees, it was $30. I was very impressed with the food but thought $30 was a bit much. We also felt quite bad for our waitress; she had about 10 tables at a time and was running around like crazy. If I wish they could change anything, it would be to turn the volume of the music down. It was SO loud. We were literally shouting at each other just to have a conversation. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back.
Excellent. Been here twice and each time the food was excellent and the service was great. Have tried 3 items on the menu. The Big Daddy Double Bacon burger, The Philly cheesesteak, and the Italian beef. Portions are huge and the waitress was very attentive. I look out for groupons here often. Bravo Big Daddy!!!!
Overall, good bar. This bar has a lot of positivies, but there are some consisent negatives, too. The food is always very good and at a good value, too. Sometimes they'll have good drink specials, but I think drink prices are a little pricey, overall. The atmosphere is very nice and they have just added about 14 brand new HD tv's through the whole bar. While most things are good, the most consistent complaint I read about Bid Daddy's and that I have experienced at times is the occassional rudeness of the staff. This seems to be an ongoing theme that the bar is in no hurry to correct, but the other positive aspects of this bar generally outweigh the rude factor.
Food was good! Prices were on point! Beer was plentiful! The live music was great! And the memories made with family-priceless! We will definitely be coming back here again in the future.
Great food and great service! Our waitress was fantastic; friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! The Roast Beef Manhattan Special and the Chocolate Lava Cake was da'bomb! Both gentlemen that I ate lunch with had the crispy Tenderloin with Fries! Thanks! I'll be back!
Hot spot on Indy's southside. This little jewel is just off S.R. 135 just south of downtown. Menu has a wide variety of foods. All made just the way you want it. Service also puts this spot on the map. Don't miss out on this place!
Everything here is as big as the name would suggest. Many of their dishes look like they're portioned for a group. The tenderloin and homemade chips I had were delicious.

Went for the first time a couple weeks ago, and fell in love. All the food ive had has been excellent. The lady behind the bar was very polite and easy to get along with. The one thing that really blew my mind was how clean this place was. For the area its in and it being a bar this place is exceptionally clean. This is definitely the new lunch spot for now on. If you like mushrooms get the fried mushroom chips, I promise you wont be disappointed.
Perfect local dive bar! Bartenders are very friendly and know everyone that comes in. Good drink specials. Their chicken tenders and fries are amazing. I am not usually a chicken tender person, but these were breaded and fried in house and you could tell. Rest of the menu was your typical bar food but everything I saw come out looked fantastic. Pot roast nachos were a popular choice from what I could tell.
The food here is amazing!!!! Been here several times and each time we have ordered something different. Not a bad meal to be found!! Everything tastes delicious!! And they make everything themselves. The the owners are amazing and very friendly, always making sure that you are satisfied. Out of 5 stars, I would give them 8 stars!!!!

I've been coming here for a couple years. Things to know: it's relaxed by design and the food is just awesome. Don't be in a rush, enjoy yourself, have some time to kill. You'll be rewarded. Always cool crowds and personable service. Chicken parm and chili Mac are sensations. Gotta love local done right!
