Edward's Drive-in Restaurant - Indianapolis - Photo album

Great food. Wonderful staff. Curb service in front with car hops or very large dine in seating. Hot spot for locals. Check web site for car shows at this location. Relaxed atmosphere and comfortable. Super clean and well maintained inside and out. Easy parking. Great jute box plays "oldies". We had
Good food, good service, we came as a family to treat my husband to lunch who works in the area. Our three children had kid's meals, my husband and I had a tenderloin. He had a side of friend mushrooms and I had a side of onion rings. We all had root beer and it was all excellent. I knock off a star
Great fun restaurant. One orders at a counter at the front of the restaurant then they call a number and you go get your own food. The restaurant could try a table number system so numbers aren’t being called over speakers. Dining area has a free jukebox with tunes from the 1950s. Tenderloin was moi
This was our first time here and it was really awesome! The service was very friendly and the food was great! I've been to a lot of drive-in style restaurants and I must say I was really impressed with how well kept they keep this place. We'll be back!!
Great food all the way around. I got the tenderloin and onion rings. I still think mug and buns onion rings are better. At least Edward's does not use fritters for their tenderloins. The strawberry shake was superb as well.
The pork tenderloin is amazing. Fries and chili were decent. Onion rings were delish. Cole slaw is not very good. Fast excellent service.
I don't even like Rootbeer Floats but theirs is pretty good. You can drive up, park, and not get out of car and they will take your order, and bring it to you. Pretty consistent on food order accuracy and taste. They do charge .89 per bacon strip and I think that is weird you just can't get Bacon
So good! An amazing diner atmosphere. The staff could have been a bit happier - they looked like they hated their jobs - but the food was amazing. Will definitely be back!
I'm from out of town and someone recommended this restaurant. The onion rings have to be in my top 3 as far as tastes goes. I had never had a tenderloin sandwich. This thing is amazing. The mustard they use at this joint is really good. You can tell their ingredients are fresh/top quality.
Fun experience and atmosphere . Service was decent . Food was served hot and was a decent proportion for the money. Family friendly. Rootbeer was very good, but the only drink served that is not a free refill.
I am a former Hoosier living in Knoxville TN where they don't have tenderloins like this. I am in town visiting family and had been craving a tenderloin and found Edward's. They did not disappoint 👏 I will most definitely be back!
A bit stingy on the sandwich condiments even though you pay extra for them and no straws for our drinks. So that was a bummer but service was prompt and we did get our food pretty quickly and it was quite tasty. I gotta say though some of y'all that were there seemed to have alot of trouble parking
Okay, this place rocks. I love the decor and the music, but honestly, the food tops it all. I tried the Chicken Filet sandwich, and it was AWESOME. The bun that it was served on was perfect, too. I highly recommend trying one! And you might also consider trying the breaded mushrooms... those were qu
Food & drink: 8/10 Service: 8/10 Decor & atmosphere: 7/10 Service speed: 7/10 Cost: 7/10 The best: True American style diner The worst: Nothing on the menu is healthy... Which isn't necessarily a bad thing! Lowdown: Watching an older gentleman take of his coat and place a quarter into the jukebox
Wonderful customer service. Literally the best I’ve had at a restaurant on a couple years. And I already know the food is fire. 11/10 definitely recommend! Imani was AWESOME !
Of course got the bearded tenderloin, it's like their signature sandwich and onion rings. The tenderloin was huge, way bigger than the bin but not as tasty as I remember it, lacks a lil seasoning. The onion rings on the other hand were AWESOME!! Oh and my husband got the broccoli/bacon salad, i
