RODNEY!! What a legend that guy was! When we walked in to the Slippery Noodle based on a recommendation from a friend who is a colts fan, we didn’t know exactly what to expect! What we found was a server named Rodney who showed these 4 Canadian guys a great time!! Even though we weren’t there for a
Go here because It’s the oldest bar in the state and that’s cool. Go here because It’s got live blues musicians all the time and that’s cool. The food is bar food, the beer is cold, the service was friendly and attentive. Easy to walk to and close to the stadium and monument circle. Definitely worth
I went here for lunch and ordered the French Onion soup and the Vegas Burger, which was so delicious. Then, I went back later that night with some friends, and there is a cover charge because they had a band, the cover charge to eat in there for dinner. It's great food, but I wouldn't go back whe
We went here to see the band Higher Standards. The server was less than enthused to be there, but he got the job done well, so can't complain lol. Our food was all good. I will say--- the "buffalo" shrimp... is not buffalo. Don't order it. You'll be disappointed to received kids meal quality popcorn
The wings are great! Be aware they are battered, but the crunch is perfect. The house specialty nachos are excellent as well. Try the in-house IPA if you’re an IPA person!
I've been meaning to visit the Slippery Noodle since I started working in Indianapolis and today was finally the day! I was not disappointed. Even though I ate by myself at 5 pm and the bar was far from full there is a vibe about this place. I had the breaded tenderloin (i miss those not living in
Best Bar in the city. Food was very good. Service and the servers were good.
The food was solid. Not a lot of options but the little they have is really good especially for bar/hub. Perfect after Colts games and weekends.
Lots of history about the building. Food was amazing service was truly the best I have ever had.
The oldest bar in Indy and a downtown staple. Perfect bar for a Colts pregame as it’s in walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium. This place is rich in history and has a great vibe. Bar area isn’t huge but there is a ton of seating in several different sections throughout and a small bar in the upsta
This place was a lot of fun. Server was sporty and sassy and kept us entertained. Bar fare was off the hook good. I'm not really a big chicken wing guy, but damn these things are crunchy and spicy and meaty...perfection. pretzel bites, nachos, and slippery noodles were all just awesome. We had a gr
The food is fantastic and the drinks are made very well. Fun and exciting atmosphere for adults. The band that plays is very good at engaging the crowd. A must visit while in Indy! See photos
Great history behind this corner bar. The oldest bar in Indiana did not disappoint. Right downtown across from the stadium. Met a local friend for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance. I had the shaved steak sub with the onion rings. Our waiter was the excellent and frie
The Noodle is an institution. The Yeagy family saved it and took it to new levels and to have this iconic place in Downtown Indianapolis is truly amazing. The new owners are keeping it going and kept a lot of the staff and all the good things! It is a must visit for out of towners and really needs t
This is a cool really old bar oozing with atmosphere. The Blues Brothers vibe works and this is a big bar. With a bar area, larger restaurant style area and a nice offshoot room great to be away from the bar or the large area. Full bar with nice size beer options. The burgers here are great valu
So a nice place, great vibe! Different spaces to drink, eat, and with two separate room for live music. The location is great, service is good. The food was ok, arrived cold to the table. 10$ cover (Saturday)
We stopped in after our tour of Lucas stadium for a drink and appetizer! It is seat yourself so that was nice as we could go and be by ourselves since everyone was crowding the bar...we got a few drinks and highly recommend the noodle sticks! Yum! The history of the place is neat and the bar is beau
This place is a locals spot filled with amazing history and equally amazing people. The food offerings are really good and pair well with the beers on tap! They also have various spirits on hand. The spirits on hand are both of an alcoholic nature, and that of a supernatural variety. If you happen
