Met friends for breakfast. Was excellent. Large buffet, hot and cold. Excellent selection from menu. The food was prepared as requested (limp bacon), yesss!! everything tasted great and service was very good. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and there when you needed her. Great location and lots of parking. Definitely recommend.

First time as a customer here this morning due to recommendation from Cloe. It's so refreshing to have wait staff that are happy to greet you & treat you like family. Thank you Lacie (sp?)! Excellent menu selection and prices. Loved the homemade wheat toast! Great walk through the woods to the state park after made for a perfect first Spring hike with the family!

We stopped in for a quick bite before heading up to the tunnel of trees. Both my husband and I opted for fish. I got perch, fries, and slaw, and it was absolutely delicious. My husband got michigan White Fish, which was also very good. Generous portions definitely did not disappoint. We will gladly stop in again when in the area!

We had lunch there. We went with the intent to get breakfast/brunch. The menu said that breakfast was done being served at 2. Granted we were close to the cut off time, but we sat around ten till 2 and were not immediately served. When we asked if we could order breakfast at 2:05 we were told no. A little disappointing that they weren’t a little more accommodating with it being that close to the time limit. The lunch we did get was good and the service was friendly.

Had the beef barley soup and a tossed salad. The soup was excellent! The salad was very good, except it really needed to be cut up a lot. Our waitress did a good job also. We often eat at Wilson's and never had a bad meal.

We stopped in based on rating and others reviews and were not disappointed. I had the Cuban sandwich with a side salad. The salad was fresh mixed not head lettuce. The sour dough bread fresh, with home cooked pork. Absolutely delicious

Ordered the Polish Breakfast and did not regret doing so. This is but one of many delicious choices offered here. With a party of three we got in right away with no wait. Service was prompt and attentive. Food was delicious. Highly recommend!

The good: The food was very good. From the pics you can see the portions are huge. The potato soup from the all-you-can-eat bar was very hearty. My son had the best club sandwich he's ever had. Service was very good, and country music gave the place a laid-back vibe. The not-so-good: prices are not so family friendly. Lunch prices are around $10. It cost our family of five about $55 for lunch with no drinks and before tip. There is also a 4% fee for using a credit card which we weren't aware of. in summary, we were going back and forth between a nicer sit-down place and Subway. This was far more memorable, but we paid about twice as much.

Food looked good and probably is judging by the business. We were there at a very busy time. They were swamped and working hard and we watched them take orders from two tables that were seated after we had already been seated for several minutes. When they began taking orders from a very large group we decided to leave without eating.

If you see the locals come here to eat breakfast on a weekend, you know for sure the shop is legit tasty. Everything we ordered from pancakes to French toast tasted yummy and service was top notch. We stopped here overnight during our Mackinac island visit.

This is the best blueberry pie my wife or I have ever eaten. I’m Not kidding whoever makes these pies has been blessed by God him or her self. Hands down the best. We don’t even buy single slices. We get the whole pie

This place is absolute chaos. We were visiting, we waited 40 minutes for our table they seated our party at two tables but we could still talk and it was obviously a family environment. Food was phenomenal and hot. Somehow they managed to deal with the heavy onslaught of tourists and still had friendly service and good food. Worth the wait.

Nice place to eat. It does not have a lot of seating. Staff and service was great at brunch on a Monday. Had the pancake, eggs, and meat platter with an add on hash brown. Pancakes were huge and cooked well. We asks for the hash browns to be crispy and well done and finally we found a place that knows how to cook well done hash browns. They were the best I have ever had. Very happy here and I look forward to returning for another meal.

5 star because the food was so great, the server was great and decor was nice (rustic). The nutty French toast was awesome and filling!! The stuffed hash browns were really good too (but a bit small portion). Was quite a long wait, but to be expected when the food is so good:).

Nice home style diner with GENEROUS portions and a wide selection. It's somewhat basic, but GOOD basic. They got all your breakfast bases covered with lots of eggs, pancakes, waffles and everything you'd expect. Very casual and inviting atmosphere.

Wow! Like other restaurants, Wilson's was extra busy because they are limited in capacity currently. A simple call ahead cut our wait time down significantly. The breakfasts was delicious and the bloody Marys were also great! If you go to Wilson's you must try the cinnabun pancakes! We plan to make this a regular stop when we are in the area.

I got a patty melt, and it was delicious. I also really like the fries they use, but they charge extra for getting those instead of chips. Price was definitely reasonable. Staff was very friendly and did well, though they seemed just a touch frazzled by all the business. Even though every table was full, the hostess brought us drinks very quickly, the waitress came by soon after, food came out quickly, and the waitress checked in at regular intervals. I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area.

I am a local cook at Northwood family restaurant and we know good food there . At first sight My food was prepared perfectly, served hot with an impressive attention to detail in how the food was finished. You are able to see the layers of items which the Cuban sandwich is prepared. Beautiful colors and it tastes like it looks!. The food was delightful and it's rare these days to find good food and ppl whom take pride in their job. Thank you Wilson's and staff. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. My family came for lunch and dinner !.
