Lovely place, the gift shop was amazing. And I had the pleasure of chatting with the owner. I was disappointed to find out, that at one point they offered accommodation. That would have been a perfect place for a little getaway. Very clean. The scenery was breathtaking.

We started collecting elevation benchmark magnets on our trip two years ago. The Echo Lake Lodge gift shop at Mt. Evans did not have any when we were there mid-July; but the lady said they should have some by the end of July. I called them on July 31 and it arrived August 3! Thank You, Echo Lake Lodge! A+ Service <3

We got in just as the kitchen was closing but they stayed open just a bit longer so we could eat our meal. Staff was uber and the food! It was super uber! Thank you for a great experience.

Great food, great service and unbelievably tasty desserts. If we weren't flying out of the area would have taken several pies with us.

The nicest people, a fun place; great food. Try the chili and some baked-on-site high altitude pie!

I can't wait to get up there. I sure wish the Lodge part and this old Mt. Evan was both rebuilt and operated.

This is a nice place to have a small bite on your way to mount evens and also grab a souvenir. The place is very nicely decorated and fancy. Has a wide range things if things to buy. The shop is located just before you enter the mount evens ticket counter. Do remember to check if it open before you go, because it's only open for the season to my knowledge.

We stopped here for breakfast and really like the food. Will eat here again for sure in our next adventure up that way, we stopped back in a year later in Father’s Day and enjoyed more good food. The hummingbirds were in attendance and often saw many at a time on the feeders outside

It's a gift shop and restaurant, a good place to stop and grab food and pickup a souvenir before driving to Mount Evans. It's a neat place to take a break with the family.

Super cute little giftshop and small bar/restaurant before Mt. Evans peak. Bar selection is limited (think airplane bar), but as you can see, the view from the bar is gorgeous. BTW, get the brownies. They were delicious and huge like a meal on their own.

Stopped here around 9:30 on a Sunday. It was open and not crowded. While the service in the restaurant was a tad slow and the food took some time, it was totally worth the wait. The food was AWESOME! Highly recommend either the Mt. Evans or the Lincoln Lake breakfast. Both are also a lot of food, worked great splitting the order.

Amazing staff- a younger staff member allowed me to use his phone to check for weather changes before we hiked. The lovely lady who runs the lodge was incredibly kind and asked each person where they were from. The food from the diner is good. But, we were told this is the lodge's last year and the government will be doing something with it. So they are selling everything they can before they are booted out-really sad to here because it has such a great atmosphere and a lodge dog named Chip to be the cherry on top. I fear the gov will create a modern visitor type center which would be terrible.

Pickup some snacks, ice cream, bottled oxygen or souvenirs on the way to Mount Evans. Beautiful building with a one of a kind fireplace.
