Golden China Restaurant

Food usually isn't too great but for the price, you get what you pay for. I usually get the Teriyaki or General Tso Lunch Special and for $8, I think it's worth it. Today I called ahead and placed my order. Lady takes it down. I arrive and head inside to pay, but she's taking calls. After about 10 minutes of being in her face she finally asks me what I'm there for. I said that I'm there to pick-up my order. As I give her my card, she proceeds to put my card in the card reader then takes 6 more calls. Keep in mind the card reader is beeping this entire time and typically once you finish a call, you usually continue what you were doing originally but the lady continued to take more calls. My card is still in the terminal. After about 5 minutes of calls she's finally done and she proceeds with my payment. This is the part that killed me. "One minute please, the card is processing." That should've been done 10 minutes ago. Anyways, the men in the back aren't too bad but if the lady is working the counter, keep in mind that she's going to waste 15 minutes of your day not doing her priorities.

This USED to be a decent restaurant. We ordered from them for the first time in a few years and our order was absolute garbage. The honey is literally corn syrup! The shrimp tasted old and no flavor, the brocolli was floppy and old, the chicken was bland and chewy and the sauce was literally some pepper sauce mixed with corn oil. We threw our food in the garbage. What happened to Golden China? So disappointing...

Don't ever order food from here, the lady at the counter is extremely rude she gave me cold food that took over an hour and a half to come. When u call to complain uh get called a liar and to check the food again. I have never been yelled at and talk to like that as if i wanted free food i just wanted to get my food hot and switched. Never and i mean never eating here again and telling everyone in the neighborhood to do the same.

The food was good, for a carry out place. I had food from their silver spring and that was good, so I came here to try. You get large portions and very tasty. My only problem is the cooks had masks but it was under their chin. I do understand the difficulty in breathing with them on, especially in a hot kitchen all day, but it did bother me. The only reason for giving them 3 stars is due to masks, and the place is run down. They are in a corner of a residential community, the lighting is horrible, I wasn't sure I was in the right place bc you can't see the name and its a different name on the bldg. I give 5 stars for the portion size and flavor. We got Singapore noodles, chicken wings and fries. The wings are not the hormone filled bloated up semi turkey wings, they are actual chicken wings. The chicken in the Singapore noodles was dark meat, and decent sized shrimp (not the mini shrimp).
