I first would like to point out how delicious the food is at Tiered and Petite. I visited the College Park location several times and was pleased each time. Even my wedding cake was absolutely delicious. The guests were amazed at the flavor. However, my husband and I did not like the look of the cake at all. It appeared rushed and not at all what we had in mind when we originally discussed the design of the cake. And not AT ALL the same quality of design as the cakes we saw on the company’s Instagram page. Also, we were contracted to have our cake delivered at a specific time due to the fact that our wedding was out doors. The cake arrived 3 hours EARLIER than discussed and thankfully we were near a residential area where the cake could be refrigerated. However if our original plan to have it at a park had not fallen through this would’ve been disastrous. If you’re looking for good cupcakes or other desserts I would say this is the place to go, but wedding cakes ? Not so much.

Babyyyy let say these cakes are LIKE DAT! Cotton did the thing and did WELL! I LOVE how moist and smooth the cakes. I sampled tried the ginger bread and I was not prepared for how good it was. Not to mention the presentation! Rarely do you get a cook cake that's also pretty and Cotton came through with both!

Cotton is amazing! We wanted a big cake (4-5 tiers) on a small budget and she was so professional and creative to help our dreams come true! We sat down with Ms. Cotton and explained our vision and she supplied us with a sketch of our ideas come to life. To top it all off, our cake was delish! Seriously our guests ate every last piece, no leftovers. Behind the scenes our cake was delivered and set up on time and looked fabulous when we arrived at the reception. Thank you Ms. Cotton!

It was the WORST tasting cake I've ever had. It was very beautiful, yes, and I was excited to unveil it, but from the first bite people were making the *ugh* faces. It wasn't just "not good", it was REPULSIVE, like something was off. All parts, too - the cake part, the filling, the icing. It was one of the standard flavors too off the website, not a custom, so you'd think those are the ones the baker has plenty of practice with? 2/3rds of that expensive cake went in the trash. I was trying to support a local small business too :( I saw below the owner responding to a similar review saying it's "unintentional human error". Idk how you can go through the whole process of making an elaborate cake, having it turn out borderline inedible, and at no point notice something isn't right. Imagine that's your wedding cake and you don't find the "error" until the day of....?

DO NOT ORDER UNLESS YOU WANT TO EAT FRUIT FLIES. I ordered a cake for my birthday party that was delivered with fruit flies and couldn’t be served to my guests. When I asked for a refund, I received terrible customer service. I submitted a video showing proof of my complaint. She requested that I return the cake after I had already thrown it away the night of the party. First of all, it doesn’t make sense to bring a cake home with fruit flies. That’s common sense. Due to me not returning the cake, the refund request was denied and I was sent a refund policy via email that is not even listed on her website. Her email was extremely unprofessional. Then, she offered me a 30 day credit to get another cake. Why would I purchase another cake if the one I ordered had fruit flies? Make it make sense. Overall this business lacks cleanliness, a proper return policy, and is unskilled at handling customer complaints. I guess she thought I was trying to scam her out of $60 when really she scammed me on my birthday.

DO NOT WORK WITH COTTON! We hired her to bake the wedding cake for our wedding and this is the monstrosity that she delivered (see pictures below). Not only did she think this cake was acceptable, but she dropped it off and RAN! She designed the cake for us and contracted us for several elements of the cake which, again, were not delivered. When she delivered the cake it was leaking all over the place. We even had to tell the photographers "do not take pictures of the cake". We asked for a refund, and even sought official mediation, but Cotton refused. I wanted to have all black vendors at my wedding, but I say go with whoever is MOST professional... NOT TIERED AND PETITE. (I can't believe we paid 500 for this mess..never again)
