Tabeer Restaurant

Good food buffet. This restaurant is in a small mall. There’s a meat and grocery store next to it also owned by the same people. Food quality is good especially the appetizers are freshly made for each guest. They usually prepare minimal amount of food in the buffet and bring on fresh food depending on customers. The owner is very friendly and makes the customers feel special and welcome. The naan bread with sesame seeds is freshly made for was guest. (Tastes amazing if you eat the rice pudding with it ;). Fried fish is crispy and tasty. All the food has some spice and flavor to it. The Chinese options are very good. The roasted mutton is a must have.

Their food is good! However, am taking a star off for incorrect description on Door Dash. I ordered the Mixed Pikora which is described as: Shrimp cooked with pineapple, onions, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, coconut cream and spices. When I called to ask why there isn’t any shrimp, they told me it’s a vegetarian dish. It’s good but definitely not what I was expecting. I hope the menu on Door Dash is corrected to avoid disappointing other future customers. It would also be nice to know it is fried.

I been to this place many times within last 28 years but this time? Bad customer service, while few people were in there ,one of their server was picking her nose then she came to me and said you need nan. I told her please wash your hands before you bring the nan. I waited atleast 15 minutes she never came back. I went to cashier and asked for non. 2. None of their dish have Pakistani or Indian taste. As you look at their name now is"El Amistoso at Tabeer, instead Tabeer which was real name of this restaurant.

My kids missed Tabeer where we haven't been for a few years. I was very disappointed and don't plan to take that chance again. Only a few items get barely refilled and everything else is stale. My little one only ate plain white rice. What made it worse, it was overpriced, it averaged to about $17 per person.
