Andy's Jamaican Spot

I really hate to write a bad review for any business, but this establishment deserves it. This Resturant is the epitome of unprofessionalism. They are never opened during there scheduled business hours. They open when they want and close when they want. Today I tried to call ahead and order my food several times, but did not get an answer. I figured they were busy, but when I pulled up the gate was down and they weren't even open. They were suppose to be open at 10:30am and it was noon. I understand with small businesses things happens, but this isn't the first or second time this has happened to me here. Additionally, when they get busy they tend to ignore their in store line and just cook their online orders. I waited almost 20 minutes in line for a veggie patties the other day while steadily being told please give us a moment. Mind you, I was the first one on line. Finally I said " I just want 2 veggie patties, how much longer will that be?". Their reply was we only have one left and it will be 40 minutes for another in the rudest tone I've ever heard. It was like I was inconveniencing them by asking how much longer the wait would be. That has not been the only time I received bad attitudes from the staff either. You may ask why on earth go back then?? I don't eat meat and they have an AMAZING curry Veggie and I can't find any other Caribbean spot that makes it like they do. But after today I am done, great curry veggie or not. Customers deserve reliable hours and good customer service and I gave this place enough chances. My advice, hire another staff member during busy hours, improve customer service and actually be open when you say you will be open. Again, I hate writing bad reviews. I am hoping this will help the establishment make the necessary changes to be better for others, but you just loss a long term customer in me!
