Five Guys

The burgers and fries were okay... Just not the bacon! I Ordered a bacon cheese burger which is about $8 and when i got it no bacon was on it. I thought okay not a problem just go up there and ask for them to add bacon. Then they gave me a thing of it wrapped in foil and I went back to my table. I then opened it and when i saw it i got back up and asked the manager to replace mine because it looked old, was given to me cold, and it smelled bad. She said "that's how our bacon is, it has passed all our vertical and horizontal tests, (I have a food handlers licence and have worked in food service and have never heard of such a test) and we make all our bacon in the mornings every day". Needless to say i did not get new bacon because she said "if i give you new bacon it'll be the same as that". Well... I went at 8pm and you should never serve bacon to a customer that's at least 9 hours old, specially when what she pointed to was an uncovered metal container sitting out on the counter full of bacon. That's a health hazard to serve cooked meat that is that old, specially when Its been sitting However, all i can say is don't order the bacon unless you're getting there in the morning I guess or don't go at all. The 2nd option is probably the better of the two.

Burgers are great and have a good value for the money. This location has great staffing with friendly people behind the counter and out in the dining area keeping the place sparkling clean. They are definitely doing something very right, because I always see the same people working there every time I visit. I have never gotten a bad burger or received something I did not order. Free refills on drinks are also a bonus. If you aren't aware, you can also place your Five Guys order online and pick it up at the location nearest you.

Best burger in town. Hot and fresh burgers cooked to order. Bacon was nice and crispy, not burnt, but just right. Cheese way hot and melty in the middle. Not the biggest, but packed full of flavor. Now they are a little higher on prices than your typical fast food ($10 double bacon cheeseburger). The fries were $6 for a large, but it feed me and my wife. Downside, the Cajun fries were regular with Tony seasoning on it. They are like the Raising Cane's of burgers & fries, cause that's all they serve (and hot dogs). Overall, very impressed and would highly recommend again.
