Pane E Vino is very laid back southern-hospitality focused! The pizza sauce has the home made Italian flare that sends you back to that Italy vacation. The Chicken Carbonara is heavy although this was expected and so needed! The sauce is creamy and perfectly seasoned with huge bits of bacon to fulfill the entire flavor palette. And the Tiramisu is worth fighting for too! The server was super friendly, polite if not a little shy, he excelled at making us feel comfortable and kept us hydrate!

I have been a regular at this place for a very long time and enjoy the food here. Today I watched the kitchen employee making my pizza take their phone out of their pocket use it, proceed to touch vegetables, pull their phone back out of their phone continue to use it, and finally take my pizza out of the oven, cut it, and it was brought to me. In the entire time the employee didn’t even attempt to wash their hands, of course I kindly and quietly let the manager know, but instead of addressing this right away, he decided to go back to what he was doing. We are in a time where food handlers need to be as sanitary as possible. I’m disappointed that this well known establishment is not making sanitation and priority when you have an open kitchen.

My daughter and I enjoyed lunch here on Saturday. She had the Butternut squash ravioli and I had the Three cheese ravioli. Both dishes were excellent. Afterward we had Tiramisu with a cup of cappuccino, a perfect end to a wonderful meal. We enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food, we sat on the patio and watched the ducks and geese by the Big Spring while we ate. We’ll definitely return. I recommend this restaurant .

Great place. High end pizza place with out the stuck up vibe. Ate there with the family, enjoyed our pizza so much we kept ordering to share with the table. Very welcoming. Outdoor seating with fresh air and a view of the park. Enjoyed looking at the art in the hallway near the bathrooms (which are through the pizza place but in the museum itself.)

I have to go back. We picked a bad night. It was our fault. We're new in town. Prom night at Big Spring Park is not the night to eat out here (or anywhere, downtown).
We're been looking at the place for a while. It's in a great location right next to the Huntsville Museum of Art. Dinner, the museum and a stroll through the park. What could be nicer?
Anyway, I had the spaghetti and meatballs, my wife had the chicken parmigiana and my son had the chicken fettuccine. I thought mine was good, the wife said "Meh" (you can't impress her, she's from NY) and my son will eat anything. (I know, right? "Pizzeria" and nobody ordered the pizza!)
Anyway, I'll go back. They were slammed so it wasn't a good night to judge them on. The fact that we still had a good time speaks well of them. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here.

A warm, inviting interior and a protected outdoor patio make Pane E Vito an excellent place to dine when visiting downtown Huntsville. We tried a pepperoni pizza, the butternut squash ravioli, a glass of Reisling, and a piece of tiramisu. All of it was scrumptious. The Reisling was smooth, the pizza crust was crisp but not crunchy burnt, the butternut squash ravioli screamed Fall (in the best way), and the tiramisu was light yet rich. This is a 4 instead of a 5 only because the serving sizes of the tiramisu and the ravioli were small compared to the cost of each. Also worth noting is that the breadstick served with the ravioli was perfectly baked (done on the outside but soft on the inside).

This restaurant is in an excellent location and the food was fantastic to boot. Who wouldn't like to be in the bottom of a museum with ponds with fish and ducks with manicure landscape to view. 🤗
This restaurant has outside seating, patio closed seating or indoor seating to choose from. I was very excited to the gluten free pizza and pasta with gluten free chocolate cake for dessert.
I had the chicken Marlo and it was very flavorful creamy bursting with flavor 😋.
Then I took one bite of the chocolate 🍫 cake and it was to die for smooth creamy 😋.
The atmosphere was great with the art hanging on the walls on the way to the restrooms . The unique texture of the white stone wall behind me. The service was great and they were very helpful when ordering.
The combination of the museum, atmosphere of the restaurant and ponds outside this is a great place for any occasion but definitely dates.
I would high recommend this restaurant and tell them I sent you.
Peace out be safe.
