I was craving something different from all my usual lunch spots and found this place on Yelp. It had great reviews, so I figured it was worth a little bit of a drive to check it out.
I was not disappointed. Got the pork bahn mi and the Vietnamese iced coffee. The bahn mi was perfect: great bread, perfect ratio of ingredients, everything tasted really fresh and delicious. The coffee was a little stronger than I like, but I just added a bit of water from the free water station and it was perfect. The staff are super friendly and attentive and I hope people will give this place a try. It was pretty slow at lunch and I don't want them to close for lack of business before I can get back.
Just found this gem in the backyard at work! Nice change of pace from ALL THE MEXICAN restaurants!! I'll be visiting here more often. The Pork and Dac Biet "The Special" sandwiches were on point. Good Stuff! Stop by if you're in the area!

Amazing place! Quick and cheap. The sandwiches are good enough for a lunch for work and will keep you full until dinner time.

A solid bahn mi place in Huntington Park! The sandwiches are definitely authentic vietnamese sandwiches with a very fresh and light taste. A couple of options have modified for the large Latino community, like the carnitas sandwich (which is super good!), but everything is so good. Their soda chan (or limeade) is great and the Vietnamese coffee is delicious! This is now a regular spot :)
Also, the owner is very nice and has good taste in cars
Carnitas banh mi...perfect blend of Vietnamese and east LA carnitas yumminess in a soft toasted baguette. Tried the fermented roasted garlic mayo on the house...took the sandwich to the next level. And the best shrimp chips!!!! #smallthanks #banhmi
My first time here. Pork sandwich was delicious. Vietnamese iced coffee is strong. I will come back for more next week.
Vietnamese food at this spot - super good. I will be back with my relatives. The bill won't shock you. Kinda of like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed.
In a city plagued by tacos and bad fast food, it’s refreshing to have a little food diversity. Asian food in Huntington Park is mediocre at best. So yes please all u dope Asian spots in the 626 come over :(). The food itself is excellent with tasty sides to compliment. the restaurant itself is a modern with good aesthetics. I’m glad Hoang set up shop here in a city that needs authentic, hip and good restaurants like this. I’ll be a regular for sure.
