Review Saffron Cuisine Of India - Huntington Beach

I stumbled by this place during the weekly farmer's market. So while I did not dine in, I did get a sample of the chicken masala. It was delicious. Very rich yet spicy. It had a lot of flavor. I cannot wait until I'm back in Huntington Beach so I can try more from this place place. Overall, while I have not tried much from this place, the chicken marsala is top notch

Love this place! Comforting atmosphere, great food. PHENOMENAL SERVICE!!! I walked in, and the owner Savitur made us feel at home. I'm dairy free so finding a place that has dairy free, vegan and vegetarian options is everything!! This place is definitely a go to for local Indian cuisine.

Was here for a yelp elite event. The dining experience allowed us to select a drink, an entree, and we finished with a popular dessert, the sugary syrup-soaked donut ball sponge! I chose the Hibiscus Mint Cooler as my drink and the Chicken Tikka Masala bowl as my entree. The food was nicely plated. The drink was pretty good more on the sweet side. It was pretty concentrated and couldn't taste the mint, though. I did finish it! The chicken Tikka bowl was a decent size that came with rice, chicken, grilled cauliflower, and green beans. The green beans I got were old and woody. It was the off-green brownish color while others had fresh, vibrant green, perfectly grilled green beans. I was jealous because I wanted to eat them, but mine was bad. The chicken was a bit dry and didn't help; there wasn't enough sauce to keep me from tasting the dryness. The food execution could use some work, or maybe I was one of the unlucky who got dry chicken and old green beans. I gave 4 stars despite the food falling short, but the event was lovely! Nice decor. The place was clean. Very nice and courteous staff. The service was fantastic. The owner was so enthusiastic! Able to speak with the owner and hear the ideas he would like to implement down the road. There is more to come! Do street parking and take a little walk. You could save yourself some bucks! It was cool they had a weekly classic car drive-by happening as we were wrapping up the event. Beautiful pristine classic cars from the 60-70s? It was a treat to see!

This place is just amazing. I can eat here everyday. Food is yum yum. Owners and staff is very friendly. Sonu and Rina are such a loving and caring people that some time I go just to talk to them and enjoy a cup of tea. I would highly recommend this place.

Warm, friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. I had the Punjabi Samosas (potato and peas). Generous portion and excellent flavor with two superb chutneys. My only negative on this dish is that it was served on a plate that was so small that it was difficult to navigate the cutting, eating and chutney smearing. I also had a bowl of lentil soup. The soup was bland. For me it lacked any flavor interest. The poor appearance of this dish didn't help. A yellowish tan soup in a beige bowl with no garnish. Also adding a dish beneath the soup bowl would have added a bit of class for no additional cost. I was there around 1:30 p.m. on a beautiful Sunday afternoon when the rest of Main Street was crowded, this restaurant had only two other patrons.

I had the korma sauce with rice and naan bread. The sauce is absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly, my order was quick even though I was early to pick it up, they accommodated me. My experience here was great

Headed through Newport, my gal and I were hungry for some good Indian food. Saffron had great reviews so we came to check it out. What a great find! We were greeted by the owner who is also the chef and we're made a wonderful lunch. I can't think of one thing to complain about. Great service, great food and nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back for more.

Amazing friendly staff! Tasty, clearly marked vegan options! Loved the mushroom chickpea and couscous dish! Try the vegan mango Lassi.
