We've been talking about our meal and the experience to any and everyone willing to listen. It was truly a joy. The food, ambience, service were perfect. Charly, our server effortlessly made us feel very comfortable and welcomed by referring to us each by name and being very attentive to our needs. We will be back for sure. Thanks Leo for developing this amazing concept for Huntington Beach. A true culinary gem!

Everything on their menu is fresh--farmfresh! Wonderfully thought out, their ever-changing menu offers dishes based on what fresh, local ingredients are available. The service is excellent as they are always attentive to all their customers. It restaurant is not big so the place could fill up quickly.
A mother/daughter duo have remodeled the old Black Trumpet and are busy cooking up delicious food to welcome guests to their"modern farmhouse". It is a family affair and everyone is warm and welcoming and working hard to ensure you enjoy your time there. They have a fun selection of beer on tap and wine by the glass. The beet salad was amazing and I would definitely order it again. The Curry Shrimp were also delicious. The scallops in Scallop Provencal were cooked perfectly but the risotto was underwhelming. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be returning soon.

I LOVE this Mother / Daughter owned restaurant! The food is amazing and the ambiance inside is really nice. This is a real Gem so don't miss it.

Warm, friendly and efficient servers that take time to get to know their customers and make excellent recommendations.
Atmosphere: cozy and comfortable - I hope to sit at the bar next time I dine there to watch the magic in the kitchen. (I typically do not like to sit at the bar, so this is saying a lot).
If you're looking for a great hidden gem for a date night, have a craving for amazing food, or just want to try a new place, this place is highly recommended. The food. The environment. The people will ha e you raving.
I had a business dinner here. The atmosphere is cozi, relaxing, and welcoming. A perfect place to hang out. I had the steak frites. It was good, I enjoyed the meal. I would try something else next time as I've had amazing steak frites elsewhere. We had a Paso Cabernet that hit the spot. Tommy, our waiter, was great. He was on his own but made it work for all of the tables.
You wouldn’t know such a culinary masterpiece was tucked away in this strip mall. I’m speechless….take all my money that’s was phenomenal.
