This crêperie is my husband's and my go-to for breakfast and lunch. The food is exquisite -- from the flavors to the presentation -- the atmosphere is quaint and reminds me of a French cafe, and the owners are great. There's always a special and I've never had anything that I didn't find delicious.
Located in the Old World Plaza, it's an easy walk from Bella Terra and the south side (Gothard) of Golden West College; right next to the Vans skate park.
It's also a great place to come practice your French and enjoy a cup of coffee, hot chocolate, beer, or wine.
We LOVED the food! The menu has so many options and everything is delicious. They were also so sweet with our son and their kid's menu is adorable. He even learned some French words. 5 stars for sure! We will definitely return! :)
Gotta say, I was pretty surprised at how excellent breakfast was at this spot! They have some excellent coffee, the French toast is off the hook, and the sides they give you for the waffles is fantastic.
Not bad at all. Really impressed. This might be my new breakfast spot lol.
Got here at about 9:30 Saturday morning, place was empty, the rush came at about 10:15, 10:30. Food and service was great! Lovely breakfast spot for a lazy Saturday. Between two people, we spent less than $50.
My favorite thing in this restaurant is potato gratin. Their staff is also very kind and professional. Every time we visit we love this place. Egg benedict is also very good
Went there on a Saturday morning for breakfast! My son had a crepe and I had French toast. Both were wonderful. The service and atmosphere were great too! I would go back.
Very nice place for a calm morning brunch. Not crowded and the food and ambience are very nice. Great coffee as well !
We ate too much loved the Filet mignon with Pasta , Mimosa and Crepes so full and so happy!
Went back again in this place! Still good food!
Hidden Gem! Great for a weekday breakfast, or casual coffee meeting. Located in Old World, there is ample parking, no crowds, great food, and amazing atmosphere.
I could go on about about ambiance and comfort, but the food takes the show. It's incredibly fresh, tastes homemade. Just, amazing. Everything is delicious. Seriously, the quality and flavor is stunning. Presentation is amazing too, but the food is simply some of the tastiest breakfast food I've had in Orange County. Seriously, if you live across the county, it's worth the drive.
This place is grade A+ all around! Thank you for the wonderful time, we'll be back!
I like the Lavazza coffee they serve, even though I don't think it is Lavazza. 😆
But the many looks great and the dishes we had were super delicious. My wife and I enjoyed our experience there. Also they show French league soccer if interested.
The staff with the French accent was very nice, friendly and helpful and not pushy at all as some french waiters tend to be.
Took my BFF out for breakfast and decided to try something new. I had been here when this was The Speak Easy so thought we’d give it a try. It’s located in the Old World Village. I ordered the Madrid Omelette and she got a waffle. My breakfast was fabulous. Chorizo, eggs, cheese, avocado and salsa with baguette slices, salad with yummy dressing and the potatoes were au gratin with cheese sauce. Hard to mess up a waffle so it was good. Great customer service. Small inside seating but also has an outside patio. Coming back with the hubby to try it.
Went with a friend of mine. We were quickly seated in the back which is a little crowded but appreciated the speed. Food was very good/ delicious. Tea selection was perfect.crepes were amazing. Nice cozy, European cafe..
