Discovered a NEW (for me, anyway) menu item. It was so yummy. A Bowl. It has Mexican Rice, Beans, cheese, sour cream, Salsa Fresca and your choice of meat. Wow! I chose the Shredded Beef and it was so good. It was more than enough for me, and made a great lunch the next day. Yum! Son had a huge Wet Burrito, with the Shredded Beef, and the Birthday Boy (my hubby) had a combo, with 3 Shredded Beef enchiladas. Notice: this family loves Shredded Beef. New favorite for me will be the bowl.

I arrived off the street early Sunday morning. Their dinning room was not open but the take out was. I had my service dog with me and did not want to eat in my car. He allowed us to sit down. I ordered a chili relent buried with eggs. No beans and easy on the rice. Not on the menu. Very good. They make an excellent salsa. I was even able to order my dog a side of ground beef served in a plastic cup I could take with me. Coffee excellent. Thank you.

I've been eating here since the early 80's and tonight did not disappoint. The best asada I've ever eaten, cooked to perfection; very tender, flavorful and generously portioned. Compliments to the chef. As always the best fresh salsa you'll ever find.

This place has pretty solid Mexican food, much better than Miguel Jr. Across the center. It's not the best Mexican food in the city but I've always left satisfied. Sometimes the staff isn't very warm but I've never had a terrible experience here. In my top 5 for the newland center

I've only been here once and I liked it I was a pretty good experience. The food was decent the service was good and the restaurant was pretty clean the bathrooms were also pretty well taken care of. I like places like this so I'm more than likely I will go back because of everything I just said.

I didn't realize how much I missed good Mexican food while sheltering in place. My takeout order of chicken taco and chicken enchilada Verde was excellent. If I could have gotten Margaritas to go it would have been perfect 😉😋

I ordered the tostada salad, and enjoyed it. I would have preferred who beans rather than beans that probably had lard in them. But it was delicious. And there were some yummy cinnamon crisps with it.

Always the tastiest basic on the rocks house margarita for 3.50 happy hour.... with 2 pretty good beer battered fish tacos, with chips n salsa for 12 bucks...helllll yeah🤙. Then a nap😎.
