Very good sushi and rolls!! Sashimi is very fresh and the cut is thick as I like it. Small restaurant but service is awesome and fast. Wait can be long during weekend and dinner time. Price is very affordable. Will come back!
Super delicious sushi place. I was amazed by their rolls and the excellent service. This has become my two sushi places in OC.

Our new favorite sushi spot in OC!!! everything was so good we could not believe it! We got HB Roll, Oyster Shooters, Ghost Roll, Albacore special roll, and Tuna Special (in the order of the photos)! We sat at the bar and our sushi chef even helped us out with some recommendations after observing what kind of flavors we like, everyone was super friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back here!
By far the best and obviously my favorite Hb sushi place. They are always busy, but its because the sushi, chefs, and wait staff are all amazing and wonderful. We have not had a bad experience here! Eva.
One of the best!! Irassae is one of our fave spots in OC 😋 it’s one of the few places that offer sweet shrimp. Their sashimi is always very fresh and prices are pretty good. They also have the best uni and oyster shooters, flavorful and fresh! Highly recommend trying!

I had an amazing time dining at Irassae. The restaurant feels small and lowkey, wait can be quite long if going at peak hours on the weekend. Vibe of the restaurant is intimate and not very big; it's bustling and busy.
Tried 3 rolls, the Ghost Roll, Next Time Roll, and Ichiban Roll. Where the restaurant shine is the freshness of the ingredients and the fish to rice ratio. The sauces are delicious and generous. Ghost Roll is a seared Albacore Roll with a spicy ponzo sauce that compliments] the smokiness well. The Next Time Roll is creamy with the fattiness of Salmon, paired with a decadent savory sauce. Green onions pair well to cut down the creaminess. The Ichiban Roll is perfect for anyone who loves the buttery texture of Scallop, enveloped with a generous amount of salmon.
I liked that all the rolls do not require any additional soysauce, the amount of sauce drizzled on each is abundant. I also like how they gave a ton of pickled ginger. Additionally, the variety of sushi offeered was decent; they had bluefin tuna, softshell crab, scallop, and even other fish that isn't super common at every sushi place. Overall, highly recommended, especially for a place with pretty reasonable prices.

Food and sushi specials are always great! Takeout available. We have always had to wait to get in, so it's popular and in a small space. The albacore sushi and specialty rolls are a favorite.
I've been to a million sushi spots. Don't know how long I've lived in the area and not heard of this spot until recently. I have traveled to other city's just to get good sushi. This place is one of my top choices now!
Really high quality fish and delicious rolls! The quality and freshness really sets this place aparta Would definitely recommend!
