Review Sealegs At The Beach - Huntington Beach

Bob Kelly
Wine bar right on the beach with Adirondack chairs in the sand and frequent live music, especially on weekends. Beautiful setting. Parking is paid parking at Bolsa Chica State Beach on Pacific Coast Highway on the north side of Huntington Beach. The paved bike path is wide and goes right by Sea Legs, so you can easily ride your bike there from miles away if you don't want to drive and it's a beautiful beach ride. Cashless, so bring a credit card. Highly recommend an afternoon of music on the beach here. Enjoy!

Had so much fun, I always do at Sealegs. I went with my Husband and friends were playing. Good tacos, cold beer and beach in front of you. What more could you ask for? Reggae Sundays is awesome. You can ride your bike here, there is a lovely bike path.

we went to the last show of the summer, but every Sunday a tribute band plays we got the chance to listen to some really good Beatles music

Super cute doggy Halloween costume contest. The winner is a great Dane dressed as a racing horse with his jockey.

Went here for Brunch with the Beatles. Had a fantastic time. Perfect spot for sun, sand, water and live music! Food was delicious. I had the bacon breakfast burrito. I also had their bottomless mimosas. The staff was nice and friendly. Live music every Sunday throughout summer.

This fun locale was suggested by 2 ladies in Long Beach from Golds Gym...great recommendation. Was told by the 3 young gents that decided to join us and have fun...oh we did! The band...Babylon Rockers, a Reggae band...absolutely fantastic! Their cheeseburger was so delicious! A hat off to the chef cooking. Very good burger! Really had a blast! The guys said Sundays are always great.

Beautiful venue along the beach with delicious food, drinks, great service and fabulous reggae music on Sundays.

We had a lot of fun here. We were here for an Anaheim Ducks event and the family had a blast! Practically on the beach, staff was very nice, easy walk to the shore, the grounds were very clean even though covered in sand šŸ˜. A lot of seating and some shaded parts also! Would definitely come back!

Met for drinks on a Sunday afternoon and got to see a reggae/punk band for free! Great Sublime cover, guys! Really fun sitting there with toes in the sand!!

Definitely go for the atmosphere but if you're looking at food, HB Beach House is much better. The reservation area should be clearly displayed much earlier. We've moved twice because the area we were at was not clearly displayed. And then The staff was really rude about it. In addition, drinks are way too expensive. My suggestions are to take stuff on the beach. Have some drinks and then come in to enjoy the dancing and the music.

Went to see Strange Days, a Doors Tribute band. The lead singer, Jason, embodies Jim Morrison. Forest and the rest of the guys in the band are phenomenal. SeaLegs is an outside restaurant bar at Bolsa Chica State Beach. They serve tacos, burgers, sandwiches, beer, wine, etc. Feature a variety of bands and other entertainment. Check their website for more info. It's literally on the sand. What's not to like? They had their final weekend concert, but they'll be back to music on the beach next year. Go check it out.

Had a great time! Rented the firepit..can you guys carry smores for us to buy!? :)

Great place to spend a Friday night, Saturday or Sunday at.

Sealegs is definitely a hidden gem. I will say it's a little bit to find parking. If you follow them on their social media you are able to find the bands. It's a great place to see the sunset. The band that played was country band but at night they were playing top 2000s. There is 2 fire pits available but require reservations and I believe it's 250. I'm not sure if they allow kids but saw a couple of families there. Beer is high prices but I understand it comes with the location and venue.

Delicious Cheeseburgers with a variety of drinks! Music was super- Babylon Rockers...outdoors, beach and plenty of seating with shade. Fun!

Great experience and event hosted by Fever. The Orchid Quartet was fantastic! Their classical technique and pop/contemporary arrangements were sublime to listen to. We had a blast listening to all some iconic movie music. A casual and light classy environment.

I have been to Sea Legs Several times now. We have always had a great time but there are a few things Sea Legs can work on. Lines during events are usually about an hour long to get drinks so I recommend getting buckets of beer when you first get there. Also I have not had luck with their Frose (Slushy rose) I suggest asking bartender if it is frozen before ordering. It's not good when it's not. Food is fair. It's what you would expect at beach. Service has improved as there is a lot more workers since last years events. And many are always running all over trying to help customers and pick up our trash. Sound system has been improving as well. I would recommend Sea Legs but please realize they are still fairly new and seem to be improving.

Amazing place to come and to listen to live music! Let the kids run wild. I have health problems and this is what I look forward to every Sunday. My son has also learned how to not be scared of the loud music here. I have no clue why people are giving them less than 5 stars. Oh well they accidentally messed up on Easter and wasnā€™t prepared for the amount of kids. Next year they know now! Thank you SeaLegs for trying! Thatā€™s all that matters. To those complaining, try it again! Itā€™s so much fun!! Iā€™ll still be there dancing and having a great time with my family!

Sealegs is the best music venue in Orange County! Huntington Beach is lucky to have this beachside venue with an ocean view! Always a fun time and great bands playing on the weekends. Ride your bike down and enjoy a beach day with friends and family!

My boyfriend and I went here for Cinco De Mayo. I wasn't sure what to expect, after reading all the horrible Easter reviews, but this place rocks. Not sure why anyone would bring a child here though... anyway, their cinco de mayo party was awesome. so much fun, good food, good music, good drinks, and probably the best people watching.. I will definitely go back!

Was not impressed and won't be back. From a business perspective, Sea Legs at the Beach's vision is very cool. It's the only place you can legally drink on the beach is cool. But $40 each for a concert ticket, $15 each to park, not a ton of seating beyond the Adirondack chairs along the fence line where you can't even see the stage, and very, very expensive pours of wine. I found out there was something cheaper, but I had to specifically ask. I expect to pay at least double retail when I'm ordering out, but this was way beyond that. To me, it was not worth the money. The guy monitoring entry/exit literally asked my friend repeatedly if she "had to pee" when she was trying to get into the restroom area. She said she needed to use the restroom. Felt unprofessional. The bathrooms were beyond disgusting. Uncle Kracker literally played for one hour. He came on over an hour late and looked to be done a littler after 10pm. The concept is very, very cool. Really like what they've done, but I didn't enjoy the experience.

It is a fun venue, but not nearly enough staff for the crowds that the generate. When you mix beer and sand and live music there are going to be some fights. They had designated spot for ride services drivera to meet their riders but the stopped allowing those drivers to come all the way in. Drivers were cancelling rides because they could not reach their riders.

Great beach setting and cool vibe. Love having live bands right on the sand. Reggae Sundays are awesome. Been here twice now and I'm coming back in a few weeks. A few staff members (security/bar) could have been a little more knowledgeable and friendly but other than that, I highly recommend Sea Legs at the Beach.

I saw the reviews for Easter and knew I had to come see this place. It's got 2 bars and a little food counter. Plenty of seating and standing room. Drinks were pretty strong and got them quick. Staff was friendly and can handle drunk people with a good joking attitude.

Sad to have to give this a 1 star. Went to the Easter event yesterday with friends and my poor daughter didnt even get one egg!!! As a company that plans multiple events you should have known there would be a large amount of people there and should have had 1,000's of eggs not 100. Also when I posted on instagram yesterday my comment and thousands of others got deleted? The owner should apologize that they didnt have enough eggs and do a REDO this weekend. You have two restaurants in this city and 4 beach stands.... Plenty of money to put a smile on kids faces and make it right.

This place is Amazing!! We had a wonderful time I bring my kids all the time and the love it! Great Job!

Iā€™ve actually BEEN here and ate their food. Loved it. This is my review based off my experience and not a review of me ā€œbeing angryā€ because of someone elseā€™s experience.

I love this Kid Friendly lil hangout spot! Great Food, Great Drinks, Great Entertainment and Great Staff! My Son And I had a Blast! Staff was very nice! The Security Guard Helped me with my wagon through the sand while I held my son. Absolutely love it here and itā€™s Right on the beach! I Recommend anyone with Kids or no Kids to come here!
Theresa Rios Negrete
My first time there and it was very chill. Great music and since it was right on the beach it was very relaxing. Would definitely recommend to others for a day to hang out.
David Christy
Canā€™t complain about a place that mixes the beach and Common Sense!
Stephanie Harmon Kasper
Love this place, but it IS a bar!!! Bring appropriate aged children or none at all, especially on Easter Sunday!!!! Best music venue EVER!!!!! I go as many weekends as I have off! Love Sealegs ON and off the beach!!!!!

These people are a joke. Advertising that they will have ā€œhundreds of eggsā€ and there were maybe 20. There were so many disappointed kids and pissed off parents. They didnā€™t have eggs but they made sure the booze was available for purchase, which we all needed with crying and generally upset children. All you heard from other parents was ā€œthis has to be an April Fools jokeā€ but it wasnā€™t. It was just them being dicks. I really wanted to go back there and try there food but after this I doubt I will ever go. Iā€™m sure a lot of other people feel the same way. It was such a mean mean joke.
Amber Raemer
The Easter egg hunt was a joke. I felt so bad for the kids. Especially the little ones with empty baskets.
