Great atmosphere. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and enjoyable to be around. The coffee is good and the food is delicious. This is definitely a place you could easily frequent and stay awhile. The booths are comfortable, the place is clean, and I enjoy reading here. Pretty light at 6am, they m
Classic breakfast diner with surf city vibes. Customer service could definitely improve, like our server forgetting to provide utensils.
Best damn rancheros! Every time I come to CA I get them. Also the throw back decor is a nice hometown feel. And coffee is always on point!
This place is layed back and chill all the Richardson leaders what we had were absolutely amazing the food was good the coffee was extraordinary. They had turtles in the front my chilled loved to watch all. The restaurant with clean not overly done. The restrooms were clean. Plenty of free parking,
Awesome breakfast place. I choose the breakfast burrito and it was amazing. The hash browns we're inside the burrito and hard to find so I asked the waiter to bring me some on a side plate. They did this with no extra cost. I was able to add different ingredients with no fuss. Amazing place and I hi
I've been coming her as a kid for their coffee. It's great with sugar, cream even black! If I go too long without Jon's coffee I get the shakes. The decor is amazingly mid century and hasn't changed since first opening. I like to share a coffee with the turtles, we have a good time telling jokes an
This laid-back local scene "coffee shop" is far from a Starbucks feel. Less hipster, more dive-y. The service is excellent and the food is even better. I'm only go in the morning, so I can only speak for their breakfast. The best part is having 1 of your 2 sides be biscuits & gravy! And their f
My family goes to Jon's Coffee Shop every weekend for breakfast. Very kid friendly. The kids can feed the turtles which are displayed at the entrance. First time with a new server today. He seemed pretty lost, but I'm sure he'll get better with experience.
They changed the menu from a couple years ago, options didn't seem as good for the money as they used to. Internet was down so it was temporarily cash only. Our server took what seemed like a long time to check on us and service was alright, that's the main reason for the four star review. In the pa
My daughter have been going here since she was 5, she is 21 today and we celebrated with her first Mimosa. Love the atmosphere, the staff, food it's all good.
Excellent breakfast spot, always enjoyed the food. The service is absolutely terrible regardless of what day or time you go. Be prepared for your meal to take much longer than you planned.
Pretty good service but coffee needs to be improved. It was weak and not much flavor. Omlet good but sauce on eggs Benedict was nothing special (according to the wife).
John is a so-so, average name, which is fitting for this restaurant. However, just like a middle-aged, mild mannered, overweight man named Jon, it's comfy & warm. 3/5 but I gave an extra star for staying true to that brutal orange & brown interior theme for so long.
Pancakes are the best... I could have them every weekend!!
Great place always been one of my favorites there used to be 7 of them all around Orange County And they have a plate they're called John Wayne's favorite I guess he came in to one of the stores and that became something that they made for him. My wife and I went there and saw paul Williams the lit
