Our waitress was so sweet and she provided excellent service! Food was amazing as well!! We had a lunch combo, Thai chicken pizza with honey wheat crust, and a kids pasta which was really good! We all had drinks...the strawberry iced tea was great. She made sure we always had refills and kept on top of it!
My favorite restaurant in all of Huntington Beach =) Staff is great to me, never had any major issues, I have altered every meal customized to my liking and they come through each time. Its like the place was custom tailored just for me ;) I travel and visit other locations across the US. Couldnt see any real reason to give any bad ratings on this page. Excellence at its finest! =)
The place was dead at 8pm. I sat at the bar for 10 minutes before someone approached me. I ordered a Thai chicken pizza to go since it was late and it looked like they were closing. I waited nearly 30 minutes for it. I ate a slice in the car and it was completely cold. Only the very bottom of the crust was warm and the chicken slices were hard and dried out. It tasted like it was baked and cooled 20 minutes ago after being refrigerated the day before. Waste of money and not worth the $20! I've gotten better pizza from Domino's.
Food was fresh, good portions. Our server was amazing. I really like that she was genuinely friendly.
The food and wait staff were both excellent. We had the lunch special and ordered two Take n Bake full size pizzas to take home for $8 ea! Atmosphere lost 2 stars because I always freeze in the Huntington Beach location!! I've heard other diners complain too.
My first time was good. Food was good except if one doesn't like certain ingredients that might be in a salad that you want to try- they can't omit. So I'm under the impression the salads are already pre assembled.
Ran in to CPK for a quick lunch w/ some coworkers. Food was served fast and hot. I hope the new Watermelon drink they have. It was just ok, the watermelon flavor wasn't strong enough. I like that it wasn't super sweet but if it didn't have the pieces of fruit sticking out I wouldn't know it was watermelon! I also had the lunch Pizza and salad. The Thai Chicken Crunch salad is amazing. I will get that again for sure. The pepperoni pizza was good but a little greasy...but it is pizza and pepperoni. That is like asking a duck not to quack...lol. I will be back for more of that salad!!
Update 4/14/23: consistent food quality. Got a take and bake pizza for $8. 1 star for service due to wrong suggested tip calculation generated on receipt. PSA Calculate your own tip!!!
Mix and match lunch special $11.99 is a great deal. 7" pizza and a salad was satisfying and not too much food.

Fast service, I went with my family and just 20 min waiting, all delicious
The lettuce wrap filling and sauce was excellent. A lot of items on their menu were not available and also restaurant was understaffed. I opted for their zucchini pasta with shrimp. It was good but just a bit oily for my taste. Shrimp was cooked and seasoned well.
California pizza kitchen definitely has the best pizzas. 🍕 we love the bbq chicken pizza, Thai chicken , vegetable and pepperoni pizzas
The bread basket is crispy and tasty, perfect for dipping
The salads are healthy and delicious and so large that we take half of them home 😍
The service is always great and the decor is cozy and the seating is comfortable and great for family’s and friends
We love their pizzas so much that we buy their frozen pizzas for lunch and/ or dinner ( favorite one

The desserts are delicious too

4/25/2021. 16:00 hrs,. Back again, and as many times before service was awesome, this has become my favorite spot for me and my family also I want to give a HUGE shout out to my favorite server, which hands down is the best most professional and friendly server I have ever encounter (and believe me I eat out ALL the time) her name is Alena ask for her for the best time with your family.
