Review Massimo's Pizza - Huntington Beach

Possibly the world's most perfect and delicious crust. The pizza as a whole was incredible but I was blown away by the crust, usually crust has been an after thought or simply a vessel but it was so dang good. Oh and the side salads, ugh again perfect. All so yummy. Two warnings. Cash only but they do have an ATM in the entry, I think the fee was $2 or $2.50. Also, goodness takes time. Went in after a fun beach day and the group was starving. Took about 35-40 minutes but it was a Friday around 6 or 6:30pm... will do this part better on my end. Final thought, there is a distinguished, older gentleman tossing the dough, in the backstory I built, he is Massimo and he is the magic at the heart of the pizza. Go see him and leave happy.

Welcome to great pizza! Had the pizza and lunch special, and left feeling well fed. Pizza was foldable (it's what NY'ers like to do with their pizza) and the crust perfect! Came with a large salad and drink. Nice lunch! Come with cash! There is an ATM if you forget! ☺️

Good pizza But nothing really special. The customer service was outstanding as well. The crusty got a little soggy and did not stand up too the toppings very well. We got the meat lovers, the focaccia, and the pastrami. The pastrami was a bit strange but I loved how they slice meatballs for the meat pizza. They don't overload it though which I really liked. I am not sure I would make the drive from Tustin again but maybe if I'm in the area, I'll consider it.

That pipping hot pizza taste from Italy or NY lingers in your mouth, you don;t have to travel that far because Massimo Pizza has it and your taste buds will be satisfied everytime you take a bite of a slice. This place has the the ORIGNAL TASTE!!!!!!!!! Thanks Massimos you guys were great as always.

Stopped in for lunch and got the special. 2 slices of cheese and a drink for about 8 bucks. Very reasonable price and absolutely delicious! To top it off all the staff were extremely friendly. Will be returning!!

I've been eating here since I was a kid, my friend's parents have been eating here since they were kids. It's just a great family-owned and operated neighborhood pizza shop. A local favorite for sure. Cash only.

Massimo’s is a family favorite. We always make a point to have at least one Massimo’s meal every time we visit Granny and Papa. My go to favorite is the Massimo Salad. It’s fresh, loaded with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and onions, topped with delicious Ranch and Italian dressings. The kids love Massimo’s raviolis and BBQ Chicken pizza. And my husband always devours Massimo’s Special pizza. It’s a win-win all around!

I have been searching for a place that has New york style pizza (Thin slice) and Massimo's is the best pizza I have tried outside of NYC. The crust is thin and crispy. The sauce is very delicious, they put just the right amount. The ingredients taste very fresh. I would have given this place 5 stars but the fact they are a cash only establishment is very inconvenient. Most of the time I don't carry cash. they do have an ATM machine but IT CHARGES A FEE. Very inconvenient. Once they add a credit card machine this place will be 5 stars. Also great location, few blocks from the beach.

The staff and owner were so nice to interact with and loved our one year old son. He was able to eat some of his first pizza ever here and he loved it. Excellent pizza and great service. Thank you!
