Review Lupe's Taco Shop-huntington Beach - Huntington Beach

While visiting my buddy Sean, he recommended a few spots - and we ARENT disappointed in the slightest! The staff was super cool, the monster burrito is literally large enough to require a car seat, and their tacos are brilliant!! Thank you all! Amazing food!!

First thing I got to say is that monster burrito is legitimate a monster. Not only is a Big Burrito but they pack it full of goodies. They have a really robust and variety the menu of different tacos and burritos to try. Some combinations I've never even seen before. Personally I was a fan of a surf and turf burrito which was great. The tacos are nice but the seafood options are exemplary. I had two fish tacos yesterday and that alone was a meal worth coming for. Prices are reasonable especially if you come on taco Tuesdays and portion sizes are just phenomenal. Only thing that would make this place better if they sold Margaritas but there's a nice liquor store next door so you can pick one up to go. Overall definitely a place I would hit up in Huntington Beach on my way back home again.

Fabulous taco joint. I ordered two tacos and thank goodness I only ordered two. They were MASSIVE! Two was a full meal without rice and beans. The service was good and I didn’t have to wait too long!

Man, can’t tell you how good the customer service is. I didn’t read the ingredients, the quesadilla I order had avocados one thing I’m allergic too. And IS COMPLETELY 100% on me. And he did not hesitate to make me a new one. Extremely recommend if you’re out for some bombass food !

As a vegetarian, I thought it was great for my first time. Loved the fries they used. I ordered the veggies fries which comes with a great amount of veggies. Tasty. Also the veggie burrito Supreme wet. Which was great amount of everything. Cant wait to try more on the menu.

Geezus. What can I say, this place is bomb. The options they offer are amazing, and prices are reasonable. Everything they offer is excellent from breakfast to dinner. I went in for the breakfast and came back the same day for dinner (ok, I used Uber Eats but still) and will come back after my coincidental diet is over. I tried their Stoner fries (but I chose chips/nachos) and they were the best I've ever had so far. I mean my method of evaluation is the following : how many chips that I grab will or won't have "coverage"? For these, there was not a single naked chip. It was just layered so well, like lasagna but in nachos. Just wow. Beach breakfast burrito was also bomb. If these guys made burgers they'd kill it.

It’s Stoner Fries from Lupe’s Taco Shop in Huntington Beach. It’s definitely not our average fries. You’ll get steak 🥩, bacon 🥓, shrimp 🦐, nacho cheese 🧀, guacamole 🥑, and 2 over easy eggs 🍳. I mean that’s pretty amazing!! Periodt. ⁣ ⁣ 🌮 And don’t wait until Tuesday to get your taco fix. Get your taco fix any day here. We love their mini tacos here. The meat 🥩 was super tender and juicy. And who wouldn’t love mini tacos 🌮.⁣ ⁣ 🌯 on the contrary to mini tacos, Lupe’s Taco Shop has one of a kind burrito, the Monster Burrito. It’s HUGE. I mean it’s like 3 times longer than an average burrito 🌯. And it has fries in it too. Yumm!! If you can’t handle that size 😉, you can also choose their T-Gunn burrito. ⁣

First time. Small place with plenty of seating. The atmosphere looked great and they had almost everything you can imagine. Will definitely come back. Had the California Burrito. Perfect size. Ask for light Chipotle sauce.

I've rated this before so I'm not sure where it went but this place is delicious. Chile Verde tacos are incredible, the burritos are massive and delicious. The meats are all delicious and great quality.

Clean, very friendly employees and the food was delicious. Got the monster burrito, it was HUGE and very filling. Fairly priced considering the portion sizes. Cannot wait to go back.

I had a breakfast burrito here for the first time. I have to say absolutely amazing. Fresh handmade Tortillas and very good potatoes eggs ham bacon and sausage. It was just over $10 for the burrito and worth every penny!

THEY what a great burrito to eat plenty of food plenty of things to do plenty of things to go around for me and you if you have a chance check this place out and seal Beach and then go sir the biggest jetty I've ever seen it's got a long right and even possible that either way it's a good place to go have some fun

I was craving tacos the past couple of days and found this place and decided to give it a try. Although the prices are kind of expensive, I found that the food is pretty authentic. The salsa though is definitely not for the faint of heart, as even their less spiciest salsa is pretty spicy (and I consider myself as someone who is pretty spice tolerant). Their Horchata by the way, is some of the best Horchata I've ever had. As for the service, the man who served us was pretty friendly and helpful and explained things on the menu if we needed help. I think I'll definitely be back.

Ordered their T'Gunz Burrito. Wow that burrito was huge! I still didn't finish it. The burrito was delicious. Next time I'm trying the surf and turf. I definitely recommend this place.

Good food, but you need to offer a restaurant for your customers it's against health and safety code to not have one and to serve food and the excuse of it being very dirty so customers can't use it is very unacceptable

Uh-mazing food...period. I believe the menu has been revamped. The original menu was good but, it's incredible now. "Regular" burritos are insanely large and delicious. Shrimp taco is nuts.

Loved their menu. Octopus Taco is exceptional. Staff was kind and place was thriving!

Great mexican food! Me and a couple of grom friends rode here last night for our Tuesday Cruiseday. Definitely worth it!!

My fave is the rolled tacos (aka taquitos). They are topped with guacamole, cheese, lettuce and pico. My husband orders the monster carne asada burrito. It's the size of an infant. Lol.

Omg this place is So Good. loved it!!! My first time trying it yesterday. The food and service were great. Employees are very nice. Very clean spot. Call in youre order cuz it gets super packed.

I am originally from San Diego and having hard Time to find an authentic Mexican join until Lupe open up just around where I live. Their meat is tasty and their Habenero salsa is Amazing. The TGUNZ burrito is Bomb...! Update: Lupe let me down... 😠 I used to like this place but their service getting horrible. Order a Carne Asada burrito Togo and when I get home it was a bean burrito...WT.....Beep....No hot sauce either. Why would anyone having Mexican foods without Hot sauce or salsa? Time to look for another place.

I got the Tgunz burrito because I read about the immensity and amazingness of it. It was good. Worth the price. Tough to finish. The taquito in the middle, however, was kinda weird. It didn't go well with the rest of the ingredients. I suggest adding pico de gallo since it doesn't come with salsa. Unfortunately they charge extra for pico. I'll go back.

My friend and I saw the tgunz burrito on Facebook and had to stop by while we were visiting this weekend!! The surf and turf is one of the best burritos I've had!! He devoured the tgunz and will definitely be back for another!!

This place has good food, and I have been here multiple times, but to not be able to substitute the guacamole for sour cream in my al pastor burrito because I am allergic to avocados, after you guys have substituted it every single time prior, is a freaking joke. Just know I'll never be coming back here again. Just lost a customer over something stupid. Don't you guys know that avocados are far more expensive than crema? What goes around, comes around.

Mexican food at its finest. Service is great. I highly recommend!!
